Before Covid this was the best Chinese in Saratoga…… then i don’t know what happened…. everything from the rice, chicken and egg rolls just were not even edible anymore….. i still order the sushi because that is still fresh and delicious but as far as anything else, it’s just gone way down hill … its a shame because the staff is so pleasant and Peter is fabulous but i never see him anymore there…. the decor of the place is beautiful…. i just wish the food was as good as it used to be

Excellent sushi! My son, from Boston, really thought that the restaurant did have many different options! I seem to order the same thing! Soup, an egg roll and chicken fried rice!

Worst food I ever had simply put nothing was any good the soup was terrible wantons mushy fried rice barely fried but the chow mein not even close to edible this place used to be ok maybe ownership has changed .Just wasted $45.00 my advise go somewhere

I was in the area and busy with errands when I decided to have some take out. I found Great Tangs on Google and the reviews were great so I stopped and ordered a meal for me and my Niece. The service was good and the dine in portion of the restaurant was very nice. After that it's all downhill. I ordered two General Tso chicken dinners combos complete with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I also ordered fried dumplings. Now, I understand I should have checked my order when it came out, i was in a hurry to pick up my Niece. My order wasn't complete. No egg rolls for either dinner. The fried rice was just plain rice, I was never told otherwise. The absolute worst part, the chicken was tough, the sauce was watery and tasted terrible! Both of our meals were previously frozen and then microwaved. They both had that frozen dinner taste to it. The dumplings were very good, a tad oily though. Then after dinner I was looking at the menu, a dinner combo was $13.50 each. I was over charged for them both. $5 overcharged. For the price I paid for this meal, I could have made something at home. Don't go here unless you want to get ripped off and have a disappointing meal.
Probably the best Asian food in the area. It is a small restaurant tucked away in a strip mall that does a brisk takeout business. But if you want to eat in, they have very nice staff who are attentive and pleasant. I moved to the area from the NYC area 3 years ago and one thing I missed was good Asian food. Now that I found Great Tang’s, I no longer miss it!
