Underwhelmed and over priced. The chicken on the outside was delicious although the chicken was tough and chewy. Not at all what I expected.

A wonderful experience with good friends once again at this notable Saratoga venue. Even better if heading to the historic Cafe Lena following a terrific meal.

Party of 6 for brunch and snagged a last minute reservation. Hattie's fried chicken sandwich was DELICIOUS! Spicy slaw makes it and if you add a schmear of pimento cheese, it's over the top. Beignets, biscuits, and cheesy grits are legit. Service was fantastic. Our server was accommodating and good with recommendations. Fun decor too. Definitely give it a try!

Our server.. I believe was Eileen. She treated us pretty horribly. Acted like she was doing us a favor while waiting on us. She did not know the restaurants seasonal rotating beers and when I asked about what they were she seemed put off.. the beer she offered me wasn't even available at the restaurant. We put the details in open table that it was our four year anniversary that we were deciding to spend it at one of our favorite fried chicken restaurants in Saratoga spring and no one at the restaurant, acknowledged any of my notes whatsoever. We've been many times WE HAVE had great experiences, but we never with had Eileen as a server. We will be back but if Eileen is offered as our server, we will leave

Wonderful food as always. Service was great. I wear cochlear implants and it was too loud for me (wifi would solve that problem.) however if you aren't slamming busy in season, you won't stay open. It was slamming busy! Hope to join you for many more years.

Hattie's is an annual brunch spot for us when visiting Saratoga - love the NOLA vibes, chicken and waffles with the Hattie's Bloody!

I have been dining at Hattie's since Hattie and Bill owned it. It never disappoints. Fried chicken mashed potatoes and collard greens, the best you will find in the northeast!

We took a large group for brunch. It was a chilly day and, since it is a small restaurant, they had to seat us in the back semi-open bar area, but they had ceiling heaters that kept us very comfortable. Food was tasty and the friendly, efficient waitress gave us great service. It was just what we wanted.

Biscuits and waffles were beyond delicious and the chicken was very crispy and tasty. The service and ambience were exceptional.

We've been visiting Hattie's for >30 yrs and have adjusted to changes in their popularity and inflation requirements. Our server was pleasant ,but not very competent....I ordered the smaller portion of ribs(got 5-6 small ribs)was charged for the larger and told that's what I received(seriously?)...all she could do was say "sorry"!....there was a time when you would get biscuits /corn bread with your meal...now it's an extra charge for each....unacceptable!!!

Excellent food. Best fried chicken around and thoroughly enjoyed the pecan pie. Everyone loved their meals...We will be back to try everything.

Brought some first timers, they loved the chicken sandwich! Wished the lights weren't so bright for evening dining, it was bright and felt a bit like a cafeteria.

We have been coming to Hatties for decades and it is definitely not as good as it used to be. First of all, the woman who meet you at the front step, was not friendly at all. Second, now they want $12 for a basket of cornbread on your table when you start. They never used to do that. third, I asked for all dark meat when I got chicken and there was a two dollar extra charge for all dark meat. I it was not disclosed on the menu. And the waitress did not tell me about it. Finally, don't order the ribs. They're slathered with a sweet sauce that is completely unappetizing. I spent $100 there and it just really irritates me to be nickeled and dimed for two dollars. So we're probably not gonna ever go back.
