Great option for a quick lunch or dinner. Food is great, prices are reasonable. Staff is pleasant, friendly, and customer oriented. Very clean local eatery. One of our go to places just outside of the city crowd.
I was so happy to see that they stay true to the recipes of the original Hattie's downtown. This one is in a strip mall, away from the craziness on Phila Street during summer. The fried chicken was amazing - hot and crispy. Sweet fries were delicious! Next time I would try other sides. Friendly staff, which I always appreciate. Will go back for sure. Nice and clean, lots of history in the decorations they use. Loved it.
We think this is the best fried chicken in the area. You do have to wait a few minutes for a take out order - but that tells me they are making it fresh for you. Always happy to stop and grab a trifecta to being home :)
