Kilwins has great chocolate. I recently had a pecan cluster and some English toffee. Both were excellent. The same cannot be said for their caramel corn. I bought a bag of that and it had no caramel flavor at all. I checked the packaging to make sure I had purchased caramel corn because it was so flavorless. It should have been labeled “sugar corn”. Also, I strongly suggest calling before you go. Their published hours on their website can be wrong. I’ve seen that twice.

On Saturday, September 30, 2023, the evening before the start of the New York State Council of School Superintendents Fall Conference, I visited my usual ice cream parlor in Saratoga while downtown. The previous times that I visited I have always had an older gentleman assist me. This time I had a high school student handle my order. While he smiled and chatted with everyone and had of me, he did ask me for my order, providing me with my ice cream. I handed him the money. With my hand out to receive the receipt from him, he chose the place the receipt on the counter to my right away from my hand. I looked at him with my hand out expecting him to give me the receipt as courteously as I gave him the money. He looked me in the eye and went onto the next customer. As a result, I did not visit the ice cream parlor for the remainder of my stay. Usually, I visit at least two times if not more during my five days there annually.

As always, Kilwins is so clean, well stocked and their associates are so friendly! My candy was delicious and fresh!

Had the cookies & cream ice cream and my husband had the Salted Caramel ice cream. Both were delicious , creamy, and very clearly made from scratch. Homemade waffle cones are always a bonus (not to mention the smell of them when you walk in)! Candy apples looked amazing but I had to draw the line somewhere (lol). The prices are certainly high but like everyone else has said in other reviews, it’s a treat and worth it for the quality of what you are getting! I will note that we also tried the small individually wrapped caramels (sea salt flavor as well as original) and were not fans of those! Overall though will 100% stop back next time we are visiting!

We went to Kilwins in Saratoga with friends on Thursday August 17, 2023. The ice cream was delicious as always however the coffee drinks are beyond horrible!!!! They use watered down espresso for $3.50 per shot. Ordered a latte and the color was totally white. The espresso was so weak it didn't even color the milk in the least. It tasted like a regular glass of plain milk. Went in to complain and the manager insisted that he didn't forget to add espresso . He asked if I wanted another shot added for another $3.50 and I agreed. I watched him add to the latte but it was so weak, it barely colored the milk and made minimal difference in the taste. In this day and age, I certainly know how I latte should taste and this was beyond ridiculous. The manager was not kind at all.
Caramel apples are amazing....the one with pecans is our favorite. Great store great confections....friendly staff. Perfect for Saratoga , the best place to satisfy that sweet tooth.

This place is a must after a nice dinner somewhere! Ice cream is amazing and the chocolate treats are to die for albeit, very expensive! Worth a treat here and there.

The Saratoga mud ice cream was so good! I also had the cappuccino chocolate chip one which was decadent. Pretty popular place for desserts and treats to go.
