Been going here for years. I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY and we always had fresh seafood down there because we had real "fish stores" in our neighborhoods. Moby Rick's is a REAL fish store. Fresh seafood, friendly service and you know that you're getting quality when you purchase food from them. I always said, "you get what you pay for" and what you spend at Moby Ricks, you are getting top quality food. Very simple!

Been getting fish here for years, but for the 3rd time in two weeks of attempting to get fish they aren’t opened. Two weeks ago I went on a Thursday at 5pm it was closed, last week on Tuesday at 3:30 it was closed, and again today at 12pm they are closed. Internet and front door both show your open, what is going on?

Moby Ricks has very high quality seafood, including difficult to find (in upstate...) things like fresh wild red and king salmon. They will also obtain specific products if available, e.g., whole wild red salmon in the round or filleted, dungeness crab, black cod. The prepared food is also good. It's worth buying from here rather than from a grocery store.

We love Moby Rick's and have been coming here for years spending many thousands per year on oysters, caviar and other fish. I am disheartened to see recent reviews debunk their claim of being "local & fresh". They claim the seafood is shipped in from Massachusetts, Maine, and other local areas but the discarded packaging that customers have found in the building show the seafood is actually farm raised and shipped from India. Not local and not fresh. Extremely disappointing and I'm sad that that the owner/staff would de-fraud customers like that.
THIS IS JUST A BAD PLACE OF BUSINESS! I ordered 12 Lobster tails they wanted to charge me 304.00 FOR TWELVE! They are ripping people off. That is 25.33 per tail. I went and bought them for another place for 10.00 per from Maine. I have also heard the are selling seafood from Asian countries!Shame on you guys!

Moby Rick’s is the best, in terms of both quality and service. I come in often year round, but I bought all of my Christmas Eve fish here for the first time. There was a little mixup with one of the items, and Cory made it right. Top notch all around.
