We're semi-regulars here outside of track season and in the past almost always had a 5 star experience. This last visit is going to be our last, however. We can't continue to patronize an establishment that allows such unprofessional service by both the server and management on duty. It took our server 20 minutes to bring water to the table. Multiple tables were seated after us and received drinks, appetizers and entrees well before us. The DOG at the table next to us got water before we did. Let that sink in. But then again, that table had a different server. Our empty sushi dishes sat on our table for almost 30 mins before the server came back over to clear. We then waited another 20 mins without water until she came back again with another bottle. We spent 2 hours seated for some sushi apps and a burger and pizza. At no time did the server apologize for the delays in service, nor did anyone from management come over to apologize, either. We're the type of diners who like to support our local restaurants, and we'll show up on a snowy Tuesday in February because we know how hard it is to turn a buck some times of the year. But we refuse to be treated so shabbily by waitstaff and management. This is just entitled behavior on the part of the server and management, expecting patrons to come back no matter how poor the service. There's better, less pretentious spots to dine at in town. Morrissey's is no longer worth it.

There were 4 of us dinning. Two of our group ordered the Scallops meal. All four of us thought our food was delicious. However, the two people that had the Scallops were disappointed, not in taste, but value. For $45, you only received 3 scallops, (also, 2 Brussel Sprouts and 2 Asparagus). It seemed lacking in value. Taste, was very good. No salad, no potato. Two of the group shared the Chocolate Turtle Cake. One thought it was good, the other thought it was lousy.

We made a reservation for a special anniversary brunch. We were seated outside and asked to move inside as there were too many bees. They moved us to a tiny high top that was directly over an air conditioning vent. We were told our server wouldn't be able to come directly over and provided some water. We sat there for 25 minutes completely ignored and finally decided to just get up and leave. We've been to Morriseys before and it's always fine, the food is good. The ambiance is not great and for the poor service we received yesterday I'd say save yourself the $30 per person price tag and go to one of the many other lovely places nearby.

We were there on Travers night. You would think it would be hectic with bad service, but our server Kameron was on top of everything and did an outstanding job. We're very happy with the experience.

They didn't have any bottles of Sauvignon blanc available but our server was able to suggest half bottles of a Sancerre which was nice, although not as cost effective. Steak and burger was a tad overdone. The octopus was very good.

It was freezing in the back room. Would not change our table. Rushed dining experience. Less than an hour

All good. Buffalo cauliflower appetizer, tomato soup, 3 sifferent sushis, mushroom pizza, himmus board, salmon, chicken agnolotti...all first rate. Attentive service, just the right pace and level of attention.

One of the best steaks I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Nobody can beat my house!!! Thank you

The service and the food were great, especially the seafood risotto. However, when we arrived for our 7:15 reservation, the hostess tried to seat us in the bar right next to the entertainer who apparently appears every Monday night. It was so loud the four of us would not have been able to have a conversation of any sort. We asked for a different table. The hostess then offered to seat us in the back room which was okay, but also quite loud. Carpeting and tablecloths would go a long way to make for a more pleasant dining experience.

Overall, it was an OK place kind of Small wish there were tablecloths outside on the tables to make it look a little nicer for the price that it was and wish that there was more lighting for outside when it got darker out and the Caesar salad was huge and they didn't serve me any silverware. I had to wait for someone to give me a spoon for my soup.

Service was excellent, they don’t have the wines listed by year on their menu available and they try to do a bait and switch with a cheaper more recent wine of the same vintner and won’t reduce the price of the bottle. When have you ever had a ceasar salad with tomato’s in it?? NEVER, and it was flavorless. I ordered the roasted chicken it came to the table room temperature, I paid $25.00 for valet parking for this ?? David Burke better remove the remnants of his name from this abomination of a restaurant!

So poorly managed, as you might guess from the wide range of reviews. On our visit they were locked into an obtuse seating protocol of putting all of their guests into the 25% least comfortable tables while the other 75% sit empty waiting for possible later diners.

In this case, direct sun tables on the patio, while shaded tables sat empty. We asked, seating host not authorized to use discretion to support a more pleasant guest experience. Worth a giggle watching the butter go quickly to liquid and singing each other with the cutlery that had heated up in the sun.

Servers were delightful, which helped a ton when granola and yoghurt was served without a spoon, and when we got the spoon we discovered it didn’t come with granola either. Still tipped server well, not their fault, but management could do a lot better.

Love this place.

Service and food should be much better. Server brought coffee and took our order, then basically disappeared. No coffee refills, no explanation for the order delay, by server or a manager. We had to go look for an employee for more coffee. The order wasn’t right & just ok tasting (overcooked eggs, hash browns that clearly been sitting around, burnt bacon, excessive salad dressing that supposed to be on the side) but after waiting 40 mins for our food, we were ready to eat what we could & get out of there. Some pretty basic restaurant & service skills would help immensely.
