2025 Review: we ordered the surf and turf takeout for two and the food was impeccable as usual ....perfectly prepared and very tasteful even though it was take out... however the salmon portion of the surf and turf when we measured it was 2 in by 2 in with a ruler which seems insane for surf and turf for two people. We did call and they offered to make us another portion and the hostess knew we live 35 minutes from the restaurant as I told her when we picked it up and she remembered when I called back so that was not an option.... After we completed out meal at home we received a phone call from Angel the manager. Apparently, he either saw my original review (posted here) or the hostess mentioned my concern. Either way, he was very understanding and asked that we ask for him on out next visit so he can make it right. This is the Prime restaurant we have come to know and appreciate.
2022 Review: We had the porterhouse with lobster. Side dishes were mashed potatoes, asparagus and cream spinach. We rated each dish, except the spinach which was just ok, as a "10", even the bread was perfect. Creme brulee was excellent but peach cobbler was just "acceptable". Outdoor dining experience could not have been better from service to the view. All in all 5 stars. We would like to add the comment that this is not a cheap meal. The above dinner was $360.

We were excited to treat family from out of town and local family to brunch on Sunday. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The food was fair and the server fair as well. I asked if I could get eggs Benedict without the lobster and the short ribs which he said was fine but I was still charged the $32 for two over done eggs and a tiny bit of hollandaise sauce on a hard English muffin. The deviled egg dish had no yolk and was very skimpy. I don’t mind paying for good food but this was definitely over priced and not the experience we were hoping for. Sorry.

We hosted a private dinner in the Crystal Room for a milestone 90th birthday. Ellie was wonderful to work with on the planning side, and the day of, Angel and his team provided excellent service. The food was fantastic and all guests were happy with their cocktails, meals, and service we received.

We ate lunch after a day of golf and waited from 2:00-5:00 for our food. Service was not good, waiter was no where to be found and food was cold

Steaks were very fatty, too salty and not hot. A lot of money for a little available meat on steak.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Grounds are lovely if dining outside. Inside ambiance is just as pleasant. Everything we had was amazing. Pictured: Duck dumplings, Spring greens salad (substituted arugula for spring greens). Not pictured: filet mignon (oscar style, with lump crab, asparagus and bearnaise sauce), chocolate cake.

We had a great dinner at Prime last night. We started the evening sitting outside but then a storm blew in. The staff did an amazing job moving everyone indoors as seamlessly as possible. It was impressive! Without missing a beat our waiter Tim continued his attentive & outstanding service. It was a lovely evening and we really enjoyed ourselves. The filet was amazing! Thank you.

I moved to Vegas 6 years ago and this was my first time visiting again. I had talked this place up to my wife but felt embarrassed after for having done so. Nice place - pretty, but my wife and I were very underwelmed... We left there sort of shrugging our shoulders and says "meh." This is such a beautiful part of the country, and I really love where I grew up. Please hire outside consultants to help improve the dinning experience so locals and visiting natives can be proud of one of the few resturants which promise an up-scale dinning experience.

Prime Restaurant surpassed all expectations during our recent visit (7/19). From start to finish, every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Service was prompt, efficient, and always friendly. The staff worked together seamlessly to ensure everything exceeded our satisfaction. Our water glasses remained filled, and the cocktails were perfectly crafted each time. Chris, our waiter, stood out with his exceptional attentiveness and thorough menu knowledge.
The steaks were the highlight of the evening—flavorful and cooked perfectly. They were tender and juicy, a testament to the chef's expertise and the quality of ingredients used.
To top off the evening, the restaurant surprised us with a delicious piece of chocolate cake to celebrate a birthday. It was a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch to our dining experience.
Prime Restaurant impressed us on all fronts; we will absolutely be returning!

First time here this year…. Menu is terrible… place was dead…. Get it together, this place used to be great…ordered tiramisu to go, weak. get a simple bar menu again…not going back until the menu is redone…. Next……
This was the first and ONLY time I’ve been here since 2022 and I can say it is not the same to say the least. This was a much needed night out that we were so excited for. The service was worse than an Applebees. I spent almost $300 dollars for 2 people. I made the reservation for a birthday, which I specified in my reservation online. Then when I called to confirm my reservation, they confirmed I see it’s for a birthday . There was NO acknowledgment for the birthday whatsoever! Then we proceed to order a birthday dessert, how convenient they were out of the cheesecake that we ordered and offered no other recommendations, not even coffee. There was a table of about 10 belligerent drunks talking of the most inappropriate things that I can’t even repeat that was getting prompt and better service than us. I am beyond Totally turned off with the whole night. The atmosphere is beautiful but unfortunately that’s it at this point. Considering the “up scale “ persona and for the money , DO better!

I’m not one to leave poor reviews..That being said we made reservations long in advance for myself and five of my close friends to dine for my 50th Birthday…We were excited to be sharing our time together at Prime..However we were sorely disappointed…When we got there they seated us outside..it was cold..there was also a wedding going on at the same time..It was loud and obnoxious…the service was horrible..they had advertised drinks that we had asked for and our waiter kept coming back to our table stating that they were all out…the food took forever to get..our waiter would disappear and we wouldn’t see him again maybe every half hour..I don’t mind spending money when the service is good but I spent over 600 dollars on the same service I would have received at the Golden Corral…I expected so much better..Such a disappointment!
