We had cocktails at the bar high top table. Drink very good. Pom margarita delicious I had 2. They give you a basket of homemade potato chips & onion dip. Get the lobster wedge salad & the charcuterie board Filet mignon delicious. Lobster & shrimp risotto very good. No room for dessert.

I am sorry to say, but the charcuterie board had a lot of cheese and not a lot else that was appetizing and was obviously prepared hours before it was served because the meat was very dried out. Service was fine but they were out of a lot of options since they close in another few weeks. Everything was pretty rundown. It was disappointing. We expected a lot more based on the location in the park.

The waitress took 40 minutes to take our order. She brought the wrong drink twice and the food was lousy

The Ambience is not nice. Very noisy and steak was inedible and all they did was one free dessert

The food here is great. We had multiple meals here and each one was delicious. The staff is very attentive. Highly recommend eating and staying here.

We had 3 cheeseburgers. They were dry and tasteless and overcooked. If you can't serve a decent hamburger, your kitchen is in trouble, and the place was pretty empty! The side salad was served with a couple of dashes of balsamic vinegar. Underwhelming to say the least. Best part of the meal was the cocktail and complimentary chips and dip.

Duck confit tacos were a disappointment. Meat tasted old. Small serving. Ordered a large glass of wine and am pretty sure was given the small. Charges for a large. Nice setting and the prices are actually reasonable.

Just a beautiful spot. We enjoyed our outside table. However three of us had Lobster risotto Flavor was good Lobster meat was good. But the dish was served lukewarm. It appeared to have been sitting a while. Too much of a hassle to send back three dinners

Food was good, but not excellent. Not enough servers. Service was a bit below expectations. No effort to make the experience memorable. Seem like the restaurant relies too much on having a captive audience. It was convenient to eat there before attending an event at SPAC.

Food was not outstanding as I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Hostess did not greet us. Server was late but it seemed to be because she was swamped. She was the best part of our experience because she was very apologetic about how long it took for her to make it over to us among other issues. The seafood risotto was fine. The rainbow trout was served without the sauce, which the server did notice so brought some over. Drinks were fine, the bartender brought the first round over, and was pleasant. However, the bartender and the manager were talking about problems within earshot of us, which was very unprofessional. I was so looking forward to dining here and was very disappointed overall, which was not the server or the bartender's fault. Get a new chef.

The cost of this meal was $85 plus tip. This meal was 2 salads as entree, beer, and a watered down Negroni. A shared piece of cake for dessert. That's it. The price to quality is not there. Really poor in comparison to meals and service I have had here in the past. Have been a customer since I was a child in the 1960s. And let me tell you, this place is not what it used to be. With a choice of so many incredible restaurants in Saratoga, best to take the short drive in to town.

Lovely quiet dinner outdoors in a beautiful setting looking at the majestic pines behind the hotel ..., outdoor dining the way it is meant to be! Not on a street! Perfect for before a SPAC event. Menu accommodates all, prices very reasonable, and service above the norm. PLUS the Saratoga chips and dip provided with all meals ❤️. A great Saratoga experience ?. We will be back!!!

Very rarely review things, let alone leave a negative review. The saving grace was a decent beer and frozen french fries that were similar to Burger King at best. The menu was bland, extremely overpriced, and felt like most of the materials were sourced from Hannaford. Would have been better off making my burger on the grill myself. Avoid the place, total waste of money. The drinks were good, maybe chill at the bar... But not worth eating.

I don't understand why the Gideon doesn't get more help on concert nights. It took over an hour and 20 minutes to get our food, thank god we got there at 5:40 and concert was 7:30. However they did comp us 2 out of 4 meals and some drinks. Be prepared to wait!
