Lovely outside seating. Friendly and excellent attentive service. Buffet breakfast with assorted pastries, hot and cold breakfast items. Food was delicious. It was a beautiful summer Sunday morning.
My friends and I planned a nice early dinner at Putnam's prior to an evening at SPAC to insure we would have plenty of time prior to the performance to visit and relax. We were seated for dinner by 5:15.The service was so slow we barely made the performance. I am not blaming our server. She apparently had too many tables to service, but she knew we were going to the orchestra, in fact she asked us. We practically had to tackle her for the check. Because if this experience...
The food ordered was prepared well and enjoyable. The complimentary Saratoga chips were very tasty. They didn't have our reservation even though we had confirmation on OpenTable. Fortunately they were still able to seat us. Waitress was friendly and professional but the restaurant could have used additional staff.
