Great interior design. But the food was some of the most genuinly disappointing I've had in a while. A fusion of what white people in the 1950's thought ethnic food was.

It’s like if a person heard the term “ramen” googled what was in it, and then said yucky and proceeded to put whatever foods are trending on tik tok on top of noodles. Go support actual ramen places.

The food was absolutely amazing! The service was just as great, Michael our server checked in with us a few times during our dinner and made sure we were doing alright without being overbearing. The atmosphere was a little dark but everything else made up for it. Absolutely will be back for more amazing dishes :)

Overall disappointing. Big misses on some flavors, including the 'tea smoked duck ramen.' The smoked tea had an off-putting cigarette like odor to it. The pork belly ramen was pretty good but missing the richness of a memorable ramen. The waitress was very nice, which made up for the lackluster food.

A great dining experience! We got a some appetizers to share with the group and loved the bao buns and egg rolls. The dumplings were the fan favorite though with such rich flavor. I got the ramen which was brothy and fresh. Large portions too. The serving of the meat with cold noodles was a fun little treat too. Definitely a more upscale place.

Instagram worthy food pictures but the food was not very good in my opinion. As an asian, ramen is my favorite comfort food and their pork belly ramen is not the best I've tried, it was very salty and not very asian type. I'm very disappointed about this. Their hangover noodles was also very smokey and too much going on the flavor. Philly cheestake bao tasted like regular burger in a fastfood chain. But I am very thankful for the service, kudos to our server who always checks on us, also the restaurant is very appealing to the eye. Again, this is just my opinion, every tastebud is different. Some people may like their style but for me it was not the best.

What a beautiful moody atmosphere- truly unassuming how enchanting it is in here from just walking by. We had such a nice time having dinner and shared so many plates. Each dish surprised us more than the next with its delicious flavors and presentation. We will definitely come back for the food, service, and dimly lit ambience.

We have been visiting Saratoga for years. The variety of culinary experiences is one of the big draws. We must have missed Rhea last year but I'm so glad we walked in this time. We sat at the bar, which is the center of the restaurant. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a Saturday Jan 13 about 2pm. We had eaten already before we entered but we couldn't resist. So we ordered the Mushroom Bao bun. My cocktail was the Mother of Zues.My friends had hot sake with peach schnapps. Delicious is an undestatement . We can't wait to return. We made reservations for Feb 2.This will be on our new rotation when we visit the area.

i came to the restaurant because my local friends have rather divided opinions on it and i wanted to see who i agreed with.the feel of this restaurant is very cozy and the lighting isn't abrasive. i ordered the chicken satay w/ pumpkin peanut sauce and and candied walnuts (right) as well as the hoisin duck carnitas (left). the service was VERY fast, the restaurant had maybe 5? ish other groups in it and we got our food not even 15 minutes after placing our order. additionally, our server gave us a jug of water and replaced it every time it was less than half way full. very attentive, yet not disruptive service.as for the food: the chicken skewers were much thicker than other satay i've had which was quite a pleasant surprise. the sauce was good and you could definitely taste a hint of pumpkin, but the candied walnuts really elevated it. the hoisin duck carnitas were very juicy. although the flavor was a little too sweet for me, i still enjoyed it. i would've liked a little more spice involved but that's personal preference. the menu advertised cucumbers but it was substituted for green onions (no loss in my opinion). one note is that these two dishes, although listed under the shareable section of the menu, are not really of sharing size (again, in my opinion). my friend got the shanghai scallion noodles which were very good/satisfying and a much more shareable size.overall, i would definitely recommend coming here.

Hangover noodles were alright, cocktail was overly expensive 15 dollars for an amount of liquid that could fit in a soy sauce dish.Ramen was way overly smoked and overpowering, noodles had the texture and look of top ramen, And broth was barely over the flavor of beef broth.Regular condiments you get at complimentary at hole in the wall noodle places cost 5 dollars per.

Rhea is a gem here in Upstate, NY. Off the beaten path of bar food in NY, Rhea offers a slew of Mexican/Asian fusion cuisine. We had a mid-afternoon reservation and there was plenty of seating. If you’re looking for dinner on the weekends would recommend getting a reservation. The food was delicious, different and with amazing presentation. Recommend ordering a few different dishes to try. We had Buffalo Chicken Bao, Philly Cheese Steak Bao, Beef & Cheddar Spring Rolls, Birria Ramen, Hangover Noodles and some drinks. Hangover Noodles and the Philly Cheesesteak Baos were definitely our favorite but everything was great. Also Sapporo on tap was great touch.Definitely coming back for more food.Parking: Parking is difficult in Saratoga in general. Recommend parking in the Woodlawn Garage off Woodlawn Ave as that’s probably the closest a

Rhea is my favorite restaurant in the area. The menu has a wide range of options and everything I have tried has been awesome. Often times I will think about going to other restaurants in saratoga and then sort of remember how good the shrimp hangover noodles were and decide to just revisit. The clam bao bun was also outrageously good. Highly recommend and hope that

Last night I had the worst experience at Rhea. I tried to make a reservation on Resi, but couldn't, so I called the restaurant. I spoke to a man, who asked me when I wanted to eat. I said dinner time, or whenever he could fit my party of 5 in. The man suggested 7:30, asked me for my name and telephone number, and I assumed I had a reservation. When I showed up at 7:15, and said I had a reservation, the host, said I did not and asked me for my Resi confirmation. I said I had called and had not used Resi. She asked if my name was Bailey and if my reservation was at 8:30. I said no, and my reservation was at 7:30. She said there was no reservation, and made clear that my only option was to leave. Why would any group of 5 adults show up at 7:15 and lie about their 7:30 reservation? I said I had made a reservation by phone, with a man. She said no men worked at the restaurant, which was hard to believe because I could see two male bartenders at the bar. This was the second time this evening I was accused of lying. We left the restaurant and I checked my phone, which showed the call to the restaurant at 11:30. I went back to the host, who said that my phone showed the restaurant's number but no one would have been in the restaurant at that time. Trifecta - the third time I have been accused of lying this evening. Here is how this could have gone better. The host could have been trained to serve customers, rather than seat those with confirmed Resi reservations. She could have been trained that a table turn of an hour, is standard, and that the gender-neutral, non-employee, intruder that I had spoken to had realized that and preferred to take the hundreds of dollars in revenue that a party of 5 adults would generate, rather than leave the table empty for an hour. Worst case, she could have told us we needed to complete our meal by 8:30. If it is too hard to teach basic seating standards to hosts, she could have been trained to ask us if we would be willing to sit in the empty seats at the bar and have our meal there, which we would have. If the bar seats were reserved, she could have suggested that we could order take out and sit at the bar while our food was prepared. She could have acknowledged, that I was in fact not a practiced liar, that something may have gone wrong on the restaurants end, and bought us a beer while we waited. All of these solutions would have brought me back. Instead, I am going to spend my morning leaving negative reviews on social media.
