Our return visit to Tatu's.. 5 stars across the board for everything--except the food. The service, ambiance, decor, music, & margaritas were all superb! Server Ryan was delightful--funny and accommodating. The food just missed the mark for us. The "crispy" oyster mushrooms in my mushroom taco were leathery, flavorless, and overly salted. And my date and I agreed that the broth that accompanied his greasy birra bordered on "vile". That said, the guac was great!Yes, I'd go back. I really love the place--and would just order something different next time!Vegetarian options: I'm vegan and there were a couple of interesting choices I could have made. If you eat dairy, you'll have even more choices as there is cheese in many of their vegetarian dishes.

We attended the recent drag brunch and had an excellent time! Absolutely love the decor and the vibe. Servers were attentive and helpful even though the event was sold out and busy. Was our first time there and will absolutely be back.

Tatu never disappoints! From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile and amazing energy. The overall atmosphere is like nothing else around this area. From the artwork to the lighting to the unique seating……such a cool vibe. The food is absolutely delicious and the chef goes above and beyond to make sure you have an excellent dining experience. If you have not dined at Tatu yet…..you simply must!

Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Troy area. Very fun vibe with awesome food and great drinks! Great place to visit with friends from out of town. Would recommend ordering family style to try as many of the dishes as you can!
The staff was absolutely lovely and the food was mostly passable (Tip: try heating your tortillas before service or changing your guacamole recipe to be less identical to Taco Bell). However, I can't, in good conscience, give more than two stars to a restaurant that charges $7 for a can of Modelo while they have a portrait of Anthony Bourdain with knuckle tattoos opposite a painting of Deadpool. Troy deserves a better class of taco.Vegetarian options: Had to ask the staff, wasn't 100% sure.

Visited with an out-of-town relative and got our usual appetizers(guac, and Mexican Street corn), entrées. (Birria tacos and Shawarma chicken), and Mexican hot chocolate gelato with churro waffle for dessert! Tried the special blue raspberry margarita, also got a coconut margarita and another specialty cocktail. All were excellent. Always a consistent great meal with attentive and fun servers. Thanks to all!
