Really disappointed. Bouncer turned our group away because he said my fiancé was “too drunk.” We had one drink prior to going to The Misfit. My fiancé was holding the door for others to get in, I can’t even imagine a scenario where the bouncer would deem him too intoxicated to enter. The sad reality is that my fiancé is a gay person of color and that must have triggered him. We asked to speak to his manager or another bouncer and he refused, saying it was “against the rules.” Avoid this bar at all costs if you’re a person of color or part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Not sure what the reason was, but it it suspicious as I am the only person of color. My friends tried asking for a manager to further understand and were told we weren't allowed and had to leave the premises. Didn't want to cause trouble so we all left.

Really disappointed. I have been to The Misfit several times and always enjoyed my time there. Unfortunately, tonight ruined my opinion. My friend group was excited to go to The Misfit tonight, and were turned away at the door. When we asked what the justification was, the bouncer told us that my fiancé was too intoxicated. Mind you, my fiancé was holding the door for others to enter/exit and hadn’t even interacted with the bouncer. Also, he had one beer prior to arriving. When we asked politely to see someone else at the bar, because there was no way he was too intoxicated to enter, he said “the lights from across the street shined on my fiancés face and made him seem drunk.” He then said, “you’re the type of people to destroy the bathrooms” and refused entry. Again, we had one drink prior to arriving. My fiancé is a gay person of color. I have to wonder if that affected the bouncer’s decision, as we had no issues getting into any other bars in Saratoga. If you’re a person of color or a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I recommend avoiding at all costs.

I've attended misfit both as a guest and as a DJ one night as well and speaking from BOTH angles it is safe to say that the service, staff members and vibe of this nightclub/cocktail lounge are among the best in this town and on the strip!
As a patron the bartenders have always been super friendly. The drinks are really good and they have a large selection of specialty cocktails. Plenty of spots and seating to chill with friends. All the DJs they have through here are top notch, and they rotate through so you don't hear the same thing every week! Its more of an open format vibe (vs others on the strip either leaning more towards EDM/house or Trap/Hip Hop) so you can hear almost any type of music.
As a DJ I have nothing but good things to say about all the staff here. Michelle the manager was super friendly and her staff consistently checked in on me to see how I was doing, if I needed water, redbull, etc! Overall one of the most fun spots I've played in Saratoga and hope to be back sometime!

Misfits is one of the best bars in Saratoga. The atmosphere is amazing, the people who work there are so welcoming and inviting especially the manager Michelle she is truly amazing. If you are looking for a place that has delicious drinks, with a great fun vibe with awesome people this is the place to go. They have Dj’s some nights, live music other overall it’s a safe and extremely fun spot.

The bartender with blue hair had on a "party" headband, but it was far from that. She was very unfriendly while ordering a big drink order. Then there was a creepy guy walking back and forth past our stuff on the couch, I told security and they said "he was harmless because he's here all the time." So beware of the creepy "lawyer" that they won't kick out because he must pay all of their salaries.*** Just want to respond to the owner's response, since he must know I can't respond and chooses to make customers look bad... I never asked who the meanest bartender was and my party and I left as soon as we realized they were not kicking out the guy who continued to creep on us and our things. The DJ was great, definitely catered to our requests. It's almost as if the owners response was planned considering it took 3 weeks to respond and you seem to remember me out of all the people you've had in there the last 3 weeks. Don't worry. We won't be back. ?

Michelle and Josh were fantastic. They were wonderfully accommodating, the board games were awesome, and they made the best espresso martini I've ever had.
Came from NYC to spend the weekend and felt like we stumbled upon a hidden gem at this bar. They have a nicely sized cocktail menu with friendly staff and great drinks. The vibe was on point with a really solid DJ. My wife and I were thrilled that we stopped in at The Misfit, hung out for a few hours, and will absolutely be making this a stop on our return trips to Saratoga. We love a good cocktail bar and this is 100% it!

I absolutely loved the vibes in here. The lighting, decor set the mood and the dj was playing so many good hits to dance to. Best part was the drinks, the margaritas were really good and affordable, and all the bartenders were so friendly. Couldve stayed here all night!
