The Winebar is kinda of cool but you smell cigar smoke wherever you sit inside. So if you like smoking stogies then this is place to come. We loved our charcuterie board but our waiter was not seen much. He never delivered my second glass of wine. Probably not returning as we're not cigar lovers.

Extremely mediocre for the price, plus you’ll walk out smelling like an ashtray

This place smells like an ash tray. They allow indoor smoking in the side room, and it permeates throughout the whole place. Avoid unless you want to smell like the fire pit bowels of hell when you leave. I was visiting for the weekend and now have to put my evening clothes in a separate bag to take home for fear of contaminating all my luggage.

The place is cute. The wine is superb. The service is excellent. But why they allow indoor smoking is beyond me. And I thought it violates the New York Smoke Free Air Act, but I’m not a lawyer. Perhaps they found a loophole.

Anyway. Unless you’re a smoker yourself, avoid this place to save yourself from dying of second-hand smoke.

A staple of Saratoga. The best atosphere you could ask for, great prices on wine, and a cigar area that you can watch movies and sports in. The staff is very friendly and helpful

Amazing experience and good food. Went on a Friday night, the DJ was playing great music! Stayed here all night instead of moving on to a bar after dinner

The Wine Bar never disappoints!! The service is exceptional as is the food. The mixologist can make you any concoction you like, and it will always be amazing. I have gone there with friends on special occasions like New Year’s Eve and the DJ, food and drinks are always spectacular ! The crowd is inviting and ohhhh so much fun!! The owners make you feel welcomed and appreciated. This is a rarity.

My wife and I are not difficult at restaurants…ever. She was a waitress for 10 years and we understand and respect what restaurants and servers have to do to succeed. But what we experienced on NYE at the Wine Bar wasn’t ok by any standard.

We understand that it was NYE, and a restaurants would be busy. But in this case, we sat at 630 when there were 4 tables in an almost empty restaurant. The NYE menu had 3 entree choices - tenderloin, sea bass, and pasta. Very simple. But after an hour and fifteen minutes we still had not received our entrees. My wife asked our server about our food. We had to pickup our son at 8 and we would now be late. The server was very apologetic and said she would find out what was going on. Our waitress was very nice and said that something is definitely wrong. However, after expressing concern, she didn’t return for several minutes. When she did, it was more of the same. Apologetic but no food. She offered us free Prosecco but we were no longer drinking so we declined her offer. My wife had called the mom of our son’s friend and said we were delayed. Shortly after 8 a food server came by and delivered our food. By this time the restaurant had filled and was busy.

At this point, despite being very disappointed about how the evening had gone, we decided to eat quickly and go. Unfortunately, when my wife cut into her tenderloin and it was purple. Completely raw. She likes her steak on the rare side of medium-rare but this was raw. Because our waitress was dealing with other customers and we were already late to get our son, I walked upstairs to ask for a manager. The hostess got the manager and she followed me back to the table.

This is the crazy part. When the manager got back to the table, she was very short with us. She didn’t apologize. She told us that they were very busy. I let her know that they weren’t busy at all when we sat for dinner almost 2 hours ago. We told her that with a set menu, once it was recognized that we had been forgotten about, it would have only taken minutes to fire our dinners and get them to us. Still, no apology. Instead, she asked in a demanding tone “so what do you want me to do for you?” Then, without any discussion - which was very strange - she told us she was comping our check. This wasn’t something we asked for! We didn’t come looking for a free meal. And we still hadn’t eaten.

But then things got crazier. Seemingly mad at us for still being upset, she then rudely asked “what ELSE do you want me to do for you?” My wife said “do better than this.” In response the manager picked up our plates off the table and walked to the service area behind two swinging doors and slammed our dinners into the garbage! We could hear her yelling that she tried to “comp us.” Crazy. I had taken a bite of the sea bass and liked it so I was not happy when she threw my dinner in the garbage.

As crazy as it sounds, the entire time with the manager was less than a minute. Imagine that as an approach to deal with dissatisfied customers. If I was the owner of this restaurant and witnessed my manager acting like she did, I would have fired her on the spot.

As we got up and left, it seemed hard to believe that this had just happened. As we walked down Broadway to our car, I asked my wife where she thought we might be able to get a to-go so we could eat. She laughed and said “well not The Wine Bar.” In our opinion, there many wonderful restaurants in Saratoga, but this isn’t one of them. We will not be wasting our time or money with this establishment.

A few days after Christmas, so maybe It was just an off night but overall disappointing. Upstairs looked cute, but the smoke smell didn’t work for us so we were seated downstairs. The fireplace was broken, the heat wasn’t working correctly, they were completely out of one of the salads at just 5:15 PM, they were also out of mushrooms, no light at the bottom of the dark stairway… The small plates were in fact very small, but pricey for what you got and the taste didn’t justify it. All that said, the staff did a great job. The receptionist was super friendly, our server worked hard running up and down the stairs, and someone brought down a plug-in heater. Dedicated employees however just were not enough to make me want to come back.

Our dinner at The Wine Bar was superb once again! Beautiful ambiance, great price point, excellent service, thank you to Ben and Jared! The comfy and cozy venue makes for a great dining experience for a couple or family gathering. It also presents a beautiful cigar lounge area for intimate gatherings. We dined on delicious ravioli, peanut chicken skewers, Ahi tuna, angus beef sliders and great WB espresso martinis. The WB has an extensive wine list! Great price point too! Excellent care and service! Come and enjoy The Wine Bar!!

Not sure why this place had such high reviews, expensive and poorly cooked. Staff was nice but duck over risotto was one of the worst thing I’ve ever had. Duck was burnt and cold, like eating leftover steak bites. Risotto was under cooked, raw rice in water. “Mushroom” flavor must’ve been forgotten when they threw out the rice-a-roni box. Insane considering the price. Would not recommend

The wine bar is a very nice looking bar and eatery. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, and service was fast. $9 beer out of a can is a bit steep however, and my $9 fries looked and tasted like snack bar fries from your local baseball game. Scallops were decent, but only 2 scallops for $22 (during happy hour) again, felt steep and unwarranted. Wine selection is great and the staff is quite knowledgeable.
Cocktails are quite good too. Just don’t come here
for the food. (Yes that plate of fries was actually $9!!)
