My husband and I enjoy coming here! It’s our favorite Italian restaurant in downtown Saratoga.

Love that they have a whole separate menu for Gluten Free options. The flavor was delish on the chicken riggi dish I ordered. Proportion of chicken to pasta not quite worthy of 5 star. We really enjoyed sitting outside too on the patio and people watching and the fact that the waiter Montana brought us a bottle of water so we didn't have to keep asking for refills. I am eager to go back and try their GF loaf of bread next time which is $4.00. Glad they offer GF bread!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and tree nut allergy

This is right on Broadway, lots of windows, food is wonderful. They make all of their pastas and everything is very fresh. Staff is always friendly and offer suggestions (their personal favorites) when asked. Never feel rushed out, which is really nice in today's fast-paced world.

Made reservations online for dinner for my husband and I. We were seated promptly on arrival. Staff was friendly. We ordered the the ricotta, white pizza and Famous 1lb lasagna. Our server asked if we wanted to try the bolognese topping and I said yes. Holy moly meat topping. I did not realize the sauce would add an extra 3lbs to the lasagna haha. It didn't look the prettiest but tasted delicious. The white pizza wasn't the best, dry and had a ton of parmesean, so I wouldn't recommend it but the lasagna was tasty. Just keep in mind how hearty the meat sauce is. The fresh ricotta appetizer and Tiramisu dessert were also pretty good! I would definitely return and try more options next time!

Margherita pizza gets a 5.2. Basically a cheese flatbread. Nice bar and atmosphere though!

This place was just ok. It's off season so not busy and service was attentive on a Thursday early evening at the bar. We tried the calamari app which was fine. The pesto radiatore pasta was good and the chicken Caesar wrap was again just fine. Nothing out of the ordinary. Probably wouldn't try again in the future.

Super rude hostess on 2/17. She tried to seat us at the bar, even though we had had reservations for 2 weeks for a table. We politely offered to wait until a table became ready but we didn't want to sit at the bar. She was beyond rude... rolled her eyes and said to a coworker (maybe a 17-year old boy who was very good!) “you can deal with this because I'm not going to.” So, aside from the snide remarks and rudeness it was an ok place...

The food was very tasteful, although a moderate serving for the price. No bread, salad or soup served with the entree. Service was good but it was a very slow evening. Drinks were priced about the same as any other upscale restaurant in the Saratoga area. The bruschetta appetizer that we ordered was very tasty and moderately priced. Dinner total for one appetizer, two pasta entrees, 2 mixed drinks and 1 soda was $96 (with tax). I would recommend Wheatfields restaurant for those who love Italian cuisine, but for those on a budget or those who have a hungrier appetite...you might want to go elsewhere.

It was chowderfest, the dining room was quiet however and service was slow, food was over flavored and raviolis were the worst presentation I've ever seen in a restaurant, especially a supposed craft kitchen.

Would NOT recommend eating here. Ownership or management must have changed in the past few years. I ate at this Wheatfields with a party of 6 last weekend. Unfortunately, no one enjoyed their food, and only 2 enjoyed their drinks (good cosmo and a good beer). The dirty martinis did not taste like a dirty martini at all. It was what we imagined a dirty sock to taste like. The menu advertises wood stone pizza, however it is a premade shell that somewhat resembles a tortilla. The pesto pasta has zero taste. After we left the restaurant, we were discussing how bad the meal was and a woman turned around on the street and said "you must have gone to wheatfields". wish I was kidding! Expensive for sh*t food!
