We had an outstanding experience at The Red Onion in the Woodstock area! The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. I started with The Red Onion Caesar salad and had the Long Island duck breast as my entrée—both were perfection. It had been a while since I ate at the Red Onion and I don’t know why I didn’t return sooner. I took my mom to the super cozy restaurant, where I’ve always enjoyed the duck. The octopus, pierogis, and mussels also stood out in the past. The duck was excellent - and equally excellent was the service provided by Josiah. He was funny, warm, welcoming, and read my mind when it came to wine. I will definitely not wait as long next time.
We made a reservation for 6 people for a birthday dinner. We had the pierogi and buffalo mozzarella appetizers. For the mains we had the chicken, swordfish and the beet salad. The service was excellent all around and all the dishes were outstanding. We had dessert as well and everything was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.
