Warning ! HORRIBLE FOOD AND SERCVICE - Like worst ever! Visiting Saugerties for New Year's Eve. We wanted to order out local, as anywhere we go we try and support local. Order attempt #1. We order a bunch of food including a lamb dish. The person who took our order even asked how we want the lamb cooked and we responded. I went and picked up the food and brought it home. Me and my girlfriend just hiked a lifetime of hikes. We were staving. We came across this lil cozy corner bistro. It has about 10 tables. We were greeted with a very welcoming HELLOOOO!!! We were lucky enuff to score one by the bar. The interior was inviting. The menu was…..ok. If your looking for a steak. Your not going to get it. The burgers and pasta are terrific. Rock Da Casbah is a cozy and delightful restaurant known for its flavorful food and welcoming atmosphere. The Asian wings are a must-try, seasoned with 29 spices, and the burger with pepper jack and avocado remains a popular choice. The short rib sandwich continues to be a definite winner, while freshly cut fries are a favorite among customers. The menu offers plenty of options for vegans and omnivores, including vegan chili topped with vegan cheese and a tempeh sandwich with cilantro pesto sauce. Desserts like the tie-dye cheesecake with fruit are highly recommended, and the "heartbreaker" cocktail remains a hit. The blueberry cheesecake is still considered the best ever tasted. The owner, Kim, along with staff like Judy, treat guests like old friends, creating a friendly and relaxed environment with good music. Despite some recent service hiccups, visitors often enjoy a memorable meal at this Saugerties spot, making it a place worth visiting with a solid 10/10 recommendation.
