My boyfriend and I came here for a breakfast date since we wanted to try out a new place!The staff was very friendly, and they were very informative, and helpful when it came to ordering! The atmosphere was very modern, and had a nice aesthetic to it so it’s excellent for social media pictures, or for food blog posts!The tables were very clean, and the bathrooms were very clean and had a very cool design, it’s amazing how clean and different the place is as I used to go here previously when it was a diner!Anyhow, let’s get started on our meals so my boyfriend got the Fried Chicken Belgian Waffle with a side of loaded home fries and hollandaise sauce. He said he really enjoyed the meal, although he wished the waffles had more syrup to go with it and butter. However, the loaded home fries were beyond phenomenal! I highly recommend on getting this!I got the BEC sandwich, it’s bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant with a side of home fries which was absolutely amazing! I’d definitely get this again, as the croissant was so soft and buttery that it just melts in your mouth. I highly recommend on getting this as well, and the size portions are really good!Overall, I recommend this place for a good breakfast or brunch whether it’s dining in or takeout! I’ve ordered takeout from this place on doordash, and it’s never failed to disappoint me! I also recommend on getting the Mozzarella Avocado Toast and the Bruschetta Avocado Toast as they are both absolutely fantastic!!!
Pancakes are good. Got a cheese omelet, ham, bacon and blueberry pancakes. Would recommend. On weekends restaurant is very crowded.

I couldn't remember why I stopped coming here until this afternoon when I purchased a takeout order And the person at the register did the ole flip the screen and made it MANDATORY to apply a minimum of a 20% tip to a "TAKE OUT ORDER"!!!

The vibe is great. The service was friendly. I ordered the BLT Avocado Eggs Benedict with arugula on a slice of ciabatta toast with breakfast potatoes. My significant other had the house omelet (she orders fries with her eggs - piping hot good). We also had the delicious salted caramel coffee. The food was excellent - hot and flavorful. The hollandaise sauce along with the avocado did cool my eggs a little but I enjoyed it. I've also been there and had just the eggs and bacon with toast - good solid dish. The prices are good for the location, cleanliness and decor of this newly updated establishment and most importantly the value-for-money is good.
Had two visits at the Sayville cafe and will never be returning. First with my husband and service was lacking but my second visit was the decision to never return. Service was terrible, luke warm tea and the waffle I ordered wasn't even done with a few broken pieces of fruit on top. My two friends couldn't believe our waitress lack of attention and she brings our check and we didn't even finish. Could go on but must say I was terribly disappointed because I love the Brownstones in West Islip and Centereach. They check to see if everything is all right and are attentive to the customer. This is closer to my home but I'll go to Centereach;

This location pales in comparison to West Islip and Amityville. Other than the hostess, the staff is not very attentive. Server never checked on us and I was not offered any refill of my coffee. I had to get the attention of a different server in order to request the check. The restaurant was not busy at all while I was there. First time here was terrific. Since then it has gone downhill as far as service is concerned.
