Disinterested service at best. Sitting down and having to pay a tip if you eat in is a little silly for a pizza place that serves everything on paper. Take out is the better cost saving option. First night ordered a chicken cutlet sub which was on the menu as a chicken cutlet. Server asked if I wanted cheese I said yes. I asked for lettuce tomato and mayo and the server asked if I wanted it on the sub or on the side. I mean, on the sandwich, where else would I want it? Sub comes out and it has marinara sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Wtf. Who the hell thinks that yes someone would want this abomination. Why would you not say that the chicken cutlet sub on the menu is a chicken parm, especially when it doesn’t specify that. Why would anyone want mayo and marinara sauce mixed together. It is as inedible, a waste of money then I had to tip on top of it. Not many options in the area so went again, got pepperoni pinwheels which were excellent and pizza slices which were ok at best. Wanted to get more pepperoni pinwheels Saturday night after the club. Online said they were open until 1:30 am. Stopped by at 11:40 pm and they were closed of course. Cool. Not really great but really pne of the few cheap options in the area. Meh.

Delicious pizza- lots of options!!! Feels very homey. Great heros as well that are affordable. Only been to cherry grove twice & came here each time. Usually quick & easy option. Mark is awesome!

Cherry Grove Pizza has delicious options for lunch and dinner on Fire Island. I’ve had countless Garlic Knot slices and Chicken Parm Hero’s throughout the years that I’ve been coming to Fire Island. Micheal is the sweetest, it’s so special that he remembers my name!

The pizza there is incredible the eggplant rollatini pie was outstanding… our server Michael was great attentive and personable highly recommend to go when you’re there at Cherry grove!! You will not be disappointed!!

Decent pie overall. They have an atm somewhere in the back if you don’t have cash.

I loved this place until last night. I come here every summer. Last night there was hair in my lasagne. It was dark outside already so i couldn’t see. I was disgusted when i was chewing on hair. I used the flashlight on my phone to find a handful of dark long hairs in my lasagne. I was halfway through the lasagne, its not as though i finished it and then reported hair in my food. We told the waitress and all she offered was to discount our 2 soft drinks. My husband went to tell the guy inside and all he offered was an additional ten bucks off plus the deduction of the two soft drinks. I will never return here again or recommend it to friends as i always did. My husband did not want to cause a scene so he just paid and we left. Im Also going to spread the word across cherry grove. Nobody deserves to eat hair and then be expected to pay for it. So disappointing that a replacement meal wasn’t even offered, although i had lost my appetite at that point anyway.

If you are used to Long Island or New York City quality pizza you will be disappointed. The pizza was overpriced, terribly greasy, and lacked flavor.
They only accept cash and they price gouge the use of their ATM with a $5 SERVICE FEE!!!
It is unfortunate that the owner did not think he was earning enough money on his overpriced food alone.
However, the cannoli was good which is why I am leaving a 3 star rating instead of 1.

I’ve eaten at and from a lot of pizzerias and this is by far and away one of my favorite. The pizza is amazing, the staff could not be friendlier, and there is so much to enjoy there.
If you're visiting Cherry Grove / The Pines, make your way to Cherry Grove Pizza. I've visited several times over the years, and have never been disappointed. I recommend the delicious pork chop Milanese, the truffle fries, and the chicken Sorrentino as well. Generous servings in a laid-back atmosphere.
