Beautiful restaurant with a great location. The food was disappointing. My guest had the Peruvian Chicken, the portion was ridiculously tiny. He was done in 3 bites. My medium-rare burger was burnt. It had barely any cheese . It didn't have the onions and BBQ rhat

Dinner with a view!! Sand castle is a great spot for lunch or dinner by the beach! A bit pricey but the food is good and the view outstanding!

The octopus is exquisite. The chicken is good but very small for the price and salad underwhelming. Would have been great overall if the waiter did not demand a bigger tip. Especially after not offering tap water but making us pay a 14$ still water bottle… The host welcoming customers, on the other side, was great. Terrasse is nice. Location is great.

We actually laughed out loud when we saw the menu. I guess they thought the location was great, no need to do anything else. Whoever made that menu doesn't know what people like to eat. Much better last year, bring back the old chef👩🍳

We have been going here for the past few summers, about 4 or 5 times each summer. While we do like it, the current August 2025 menu is a major disappointment. Nothing appealed to us, so we had to go elsewhere. This menu was put together as an afterthought, we felt embarrassed by inviting our friends. Hopefully next year they will have a better chef 👩🍳 🙏🏻 😉

Food was incredible. Maybe the best meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I had the sesame crusted salmon. My girlfriend got the octopus and loved it. Atmosphere was great. Waiter and host were very nice. However the two bartenders at the bar were pretty rude to my girlfriend for asking a question and talked about her and laughed while she was right there. Other than that it was great.

The food was awful sent back shrimp cocktail) $14 bottle pelegrino and $22 for dinner rolls the view is beautiful and service was excellent but the food is terrible we had 4 different dishes and the chicken dish was the only decent entree

So I have never been here before so we wanted to try their food the castle burger was 30 dollars and it is arguably the WORST burger I have ever tasted. Even over public school lunch. They charred my bun and I asked for medium well burger and got that charred as well. The entire burger tasted just burnt and when I brought this up to management they just gave me a new bun. It's was dry and didn't have any flavor other than burnt and I was really disappointed that a meal that ended up being more than a 100 bucks ( my friend ordered a burger as well) I ended up being so dissatisfied even the drinks were not good I am Soooooo glad I didn't order any raw oysters I just know it wouldn't have ended well. Anyway if your at fire island go to Cherry's instead.

the waiter made us wait a long time he arrive with a good attitude . After this the food take 1 hour The burgers are not bad 6-10 The steak was the problem, dry and tasteless. We asked for it to be thrown away and asked for the bill, but we only left $20 for the meat problem.The waiter followed us to the exit to ask for more, leaving him a total of 35 dollars for his poor service. Fire island it’s not the island we used to visit and support

I got really horrible food poisoning today from the lobster roll. Never happened to me before here, but when it was served, there were pieces of shell in the meat still - should have known then and there something was up. But less than 2 hrs after eating it became all too clear! Please educate staff on properly storing shellfish. Went back to alert them and asked for a refund and they just shrugged. So won’t be eating here again, which is sad because I used to enjoy it.
