The chowder was good and my group shared apps. We had no complaints. We did sit at the bar and there was a shift change. The first bartender was pleasant but nothing special. The bartender that followed was much more personable. The place itself has a few tables inside and a space outside with tables also. I loved the look and feel of the bar. I will definitely go back for apps and drinks again.

Tried fish tacos because I love them. Felt they could be a bit more crunchy. Love red slaw with my tacos. But taste was overall ok. Burger is always a good buy. Chips and guacamole were ok.

Local Sayville bar with great food and atmosphere. The decor is nautical which fit the name if the restaurant and bar. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food and live music on Saturday nights. Glad we visited Sayville Bait and Tackle!

This place is just a great casual restaurant. The burgers and wings are excellent.
I work as a food carrier. Every time I go there to pick up customer orders, I wait at least 15-20 minutes. No one among the employees cares. My customers who placed orders are also not satisfied because I have to deliver the order very late. I guess the boss doesn't know. I hope she reads this article and warns her employees.

Hello, my family and I went to the Bait and Tackle on Monday night. I asked for a Caesar salad w/ light dressing and got a salad soaked in dressing. I had an onion soup and got a teaspoon with it. Our server never came back to see if everything was OK. She did originally ask us twice if we wanted an app. We did not. Mediocre food to say the least and very uninterested bartenders. We will not recommend this place and won't be coming back

First time here, it was 5ish on a Friday night. Bar was busy, but luckily a few seats opened up. Bartenders all were very nice and attentive, even got her to take multiple pictures of us. Drinks were great, we got sampler for food and we all wanted more it was soooo good.

Really nice local pub. Standard fare is well prepared and reasonably priced. Big bar and an ample amount of table seating. Kitchen is open late, and the staff takes good care of you. Definitely a go-to for a nice meal out in a lively atmosphere.
