I was super excited to check out this café but was a little disappointed that it costs $17 entry per person (would’ve been $51 for 3 people) and didn’t end up actually going into the cat area. I understand that the business needs this money to stay up and running but would’ve liked to been able to find the accurate price on their website. Looked really nice from what I could tell, seemed like a well kept environment.

The older women was very rude and disrespectful.. We try to go in there with our kids. She said 16 and over tonight , which I totally understand but my 6-year-old son had to use the bathroom and she turned him down. He had to go really bad. We asked multiple time nicely but she did not want to hear or talk... He had to leave and my son kind of accident on himself.. very sad ... I am a animal lover to the max and this lady is not ...hes only 6 years old ..come on .. (please don't try to lie it's pretty sad ) very disappointed 😞

Loved it! I brought my 3 year old to see their cats this morning. At the beginning I thought it was a little pricey for what it is but I can understand why. They take such good care of the cats with good food clean water and very clean beds and toys. Most of the cats don’t want to be approached by a 3yo but 2-3 of them were very friendly and came to us on their own. The lady working there is very nice and informative about the adoptions. If your kid likes animals especially cats this is a good please to bring them and teach them about boundaries with animals.

Cute place, friendly cats. I come in now and again and buy stickers and cute little croc charms here and there. I fell in love with Archie he is such the sweetest boy ever 🩷, I wish I could take him home with me but unfortunately I live in a no pets apartment.

My experience with the cats was wonderful! The Shabby Tabby is clean, and the cats are well taken care of. I would like to note that it is the staff’s hospitality that makes this place shine. After being in an accident right down the road, they were there to make sure everyone was okay and even offered us water and a place to stand away from the cold. Their compassion extends far beyond their animals and I cannot recommend giving them business enough!

Best cat cafè on Long Island! The ladies who I met a few months ago are amazing with the cats and are so knowledgeable. I came on a slow day and even got to spend some extra time with the kitties and saw dinner time. The Shabby Tabby is a wonderful place with a wonderful mission, I would definitely recommend visiting (especially if you’re a cat lover!) ❤️ I will be back soon to get some more cat cuddles. My mom and I have been talking about taking a trip to the shabby tabby for a while and I’m so glad we did. We got welcomed by a cat as soon as we walked in. The admission price is more than fair considering all the cats they take care of. I have nothing negative to say about any of my experience there. They have been open since 2018 and the place is very clean. They have 40 cats and you can’t smell them that’s how you know this place is very well taken care of and attended to. I love how they give a chance to all cats regardless if they’re friendly or more shy. My mom and I had a great time. I’m planning on coming back to meet the new rescues soon with my boyfriend 🐈⬛🐾
