Music was loud and without reservation was a long wait. Wouldn't recommend on Saturday night at dinner time. That being said the appetizers are very good. Entrees are good.

Food horrible, seafood platter ( took off bill); butternut squash risotto, potato soup, knocci. Everything terrible, worst restaurant ever been to! Will never return and have passed word to all friends and family! Was warned food was terrible, but since we absolutely loved crickets we thought we'd give it a try. Now understand why we were warned how bad it was! Should have took everything off bill since it was very clear that we took one bite and left. Only3 other tables at same time as us and now I know why! Don't expect you to stay in business long! Words out how very bad restaurant is!,

The food and service was excellent. But to be honest what really made our day (and we had a very large party) was our server Vinny. He was beyond professional and courteous. I hope the management reads these reviews. Again we’ll be back and will hopefully have Vinny again.
Food was good and service was ok, but they placed us at a large table in the front by the window as we were a party of 8, but it was really cold and drafty. The windows slide open during the warmer months to provide an indoor/outdoor feel, but let a lot of draft in when it is cold. Let's just say we will not go back until the Spring.
It was my first time ever going to Wayward with my boyfriend, when we first got there the hostess sat us on the right side of the restaurant. When we sat down we noticed that it wasn't that busy on that side & we were starving so we were hoping for quick service. We sat down at the table for 10-15 minutes watching a waitress pace back & forth but never greeting us, 2 other tables were sat in the spam of us sitting and none of them were greeted. My boyfriend and I had already made our decisions for drinks and food so it was irritating to us that no one had even come up to us yet. Since we already decided on the food we wanted we decided to get up and sit at the bar instead that is where our whole experience TURNED AROUND FOR THE BETTER. We were greeted by the bartender whose name was JANINE. She was soo considerate to let us know she will be right with us since she had tables at the bar and surrounding the bar. We had let her know the experience we had incurred with the waitress & thats when she stopped what she was doing and made sure she took our food and drink orders right away. SHE WAS AN AMAZING BARTENDER/WAITRESS, she was very personable and attentive as well as gave us a round of drinks on the house to make up for the inconvenience at the beginning. She spoke to us about how long she has been in the industry and let me tell you she makes AN AMAZING MANGO MARGARITA!!! Not only was she on top of everything coming out on time and correctly, she also made our experience very welcoming. ASK FOR JANINE NEXT TIME YOU GO because she will give you TOP NOTCH service!! We ate the chicken Caesar wrap which was delicious with a side of tots as an entree to split & we also ordered the nachos & calamari for appetizer. The nachos are an amazing portion for 2-3 people & the calamari is great for about 2 people. We'll definitely be back, ESPECIALLY for JANINE!! We'll for sure be sitting in her section after giving such AMAZING SERVICE & making it an amazing experience!

Very disappointed. The server wouldn't even ask the chef to make a substitution for bread because it was “too busy.” The food was overcooked and not worth it for the 100 we spent. Bring back Crickets!

Food was phenomenal, service was great and everyone was friendly and had great recommendations! Even tried a new drink last night and loved it. Brussel sprouts are unlike anywhere else, and gnocchi à la vodka, wow!! Great ambience to go along with a great meal. Can't wait to return, a new fave!

Vinnie was our waiter, verrrrrrry attentive, exceptional customer service skills!! It was the first time I went here with my BF. We went on Valentine's day, what a pleasant surprise. Food was amazing, the ambiance very nice and excellent service. I would highly recommend!!!!
