“We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

“I went in to munchies with a friend today on our lunch break. The service was great. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. And the food, was, like one of the best deli food in Yonkers, they could go toe to toe with anyone else in Yonkers . Thank you very much Munchies.“

“Love, Love, LOVE this breakfast spot. I order from here regularly. The food is always fast, fresh and budget friendly. The guy who takes phone orders affectionately refers to us as “The Donut Family” because we usually order the last donuts of the day. What’s pictured here is seasoned waffle fries and a special made burger (bacon cheddar cheeseburger on a glazed donut w/lettuce & tomato). They are open very early. They take cards and cash. The staff is super friendly. Great for delivery but not so great as a dine in spot (they do have a couple of chairs inside but it’s really too small to sit and enjoy a meal without having to move for the incoming foot traffic).“

“Very homey feel here. Service was fast from the woman at the front who tended to multiple people. The value was excellent for breakfast, where I ordered from one of their deals. Ordered scrambled eggs with sausage and it came with toast (4 pieces), juice, and coffee. Very affordable and I'd recommend coming here. There's a parking garage and street parking on the hill to the right of this restaurant (free on Sundays).“

“Food was too good to take a picture! Soon as they laid my plate down I went to town on the food! They serve fresh, large portions! I ordered the home fries, eggs, bacon and toast! Everything was made the exact way I ordered and quickly! This place is a hidden gem. Clean , friendly and affordable

“Had a really pleasant evening with the fam while the winter winds howled outside. Lovely Chicken Piccata, and the Kid loved their Farm Burger. I believe the food has gotten better to the point where it is pretty damn good. The ambiance especially is really welcoming, and welcome.“

“On a stop over in New York, we decided to go find a good bagel place. We are so happy we came upon the Traditional Bagel Café. Staff was friendly, the bagels were delicious, and the food was made to order very quickly. The reason you gave the atmosphere of four is because it was cold in there because their front is all windows and in the middle of the winter it’s hard to keep in insulated. Otherwise it’s an easy place to stop and shop! I would come back again.“

On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'.I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business.Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience.I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by.Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming.Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently. For locals of course, walking is the best option.All in all, a nice local business and again, great option in the area. I will be back of course.“

“I came here for a chopped cheese. The food is good but a little bit overpriced. When I first ordered a chopped cheese on a roll it was $8.50. When I ordered a chopped cheese on a hero it was $11.00.There is a lot of other places that offer similar foods for a more affordable rate.Main take away is the food is good but a little expensive.8/10“

The empanada was rich, flavorful, and satisfying—definitely enjoyable, though just a touch on the salty side. The smoothie looked great but tasted a bit plain for my liking—could’ve used a stronger fruit flavor or a little sweetener. Still, a nice casual cafe with charm, and probably the only option other than the Starbucks.“

“I've been coming to this IHOP as it is in my neighborhood. I come here whenever I want the taste of a good breakfast. The service is hit or miss, but today 12/6/2025, I was served by an angel, Charmaine A. She made sure myself and other patrons were seated comfortably. She provided the refills without having to be asked and my meal was served warm. I had ordered the split decision and the pancakes weren't ready yet so instead of letting my plate sit until the full order was ready, she gave me the plate with the explanation that the pancakes would be on the way. Her personable service made my day. Thank you.“
