Excellent experience at Haiku eastchester! Delicious food, good service, and quiet ambiance. Highlights: Pad tai and Mongolian steak with buk choy. The dumplings were tender and flavorful. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

It used to be a 3.5 star in quality but has dropped to a 2.5 to 3. Quality of fish is fine - not bad though not memorable either. The rice is a bit cold - good sushi chefs focus on at least room temperature and ideally warm rice to enhance the fish flavor. Not this place. Here it is better than cold rice- it is not like grocery store sushi out of a fridge… but it’s still cold as of made two hours ago. There is hot food too - mostly fried stuff which I didn’t try.
