Food was good, service ok, my wife and I eat out every Saturday night, much, much better restaurants located in Westchester county, this seems to me to be a trendy , ( oh we dined at one rate in Scarsdale) kind of restaurant than to go to a much better place than here, I'll Sorento in harsdale, bisoloco in Pelham, Emilio's in Harrison, zero otto nove in tucahoe, or tuscano in eastchester, much better places than this.

We recently dined at One Rare Italian Steakhouse and unfortunately left feeling underwhelmed, especially considering the prices and the location in Scarsdale. We expected a much higher-end dining experience for the cost.
The biggest issue was cleanliness. There were crumbs all over the floor, visible dust buildup on the ceiling, food smeared on parts of the walls, and even a spider hanging from the ceiling above our table that we had to move ourselves before it dropped into our dining area. It definitely took away from the atmosphere.
As for the food, it was just okay. The calamari was very thick and chewy, and it only included rings with no tentacles, which made it seem frozen rather than fresh. The steak itself was cooked well, but lacked seasoning and flavor. The steak sauce provided at the table was actually one of the better parts of the meal.
Service also fell short. Our server was not very attentive or particularly friendly. Our water glasses were not refilled throughout the meal until we asked for the check, and the only time we were approached proactively was to see if we wanted more alcoholic drinks.
Overall, the experience did not match the price point. There is potential here, but for the cost and reputation of the area, we expected much better quality, service, and attention to detail.

Very disappointing experience at RARE Italian Steakhouse. The older Albanian waiter was rude, pushy, and clearly more interested in upselling than giving good service. He recommended one of the worst wines I’ve had, charged an expensive price for it, and acted like it was some premium selection. The whole interaction felt dishonest and uncomfortable. For a place that’s supposed to be high-end, the customer service was unprofessional and ruined the night. Definitely would not recommend.

Deliciously $$$$, the only issue is the street parking. It can be challenging. If you have a few extra dollars and want to treat yourself to goodness, this is a good spot.

The steak was the best I’ve had in a long time. The service was absolutely amazing, they served us everything. Drinks came extremely quick and the music played was upbeat as well which was nice for a Saturday night

Great food. Amazing service.
Starting with the beet salad, it was very skimpy on beets. The Chilean sea bass was delicious. The cause it sat on didn't enhance it. I removed the fish from the plate and enjoyed it. I was able to substitute spinach for asparagus but the spinach was skimpy and overcooked. My boyfriend didn't enjoy his filet mignon on the bone. The affogato could have been a more substantial portion, more than a small scoop of ice cream. The service was very good. We were fed very quickly. We were disappointed overall .
Could only give 3 stars because we had to wait 30 minutes for a table we reserved several weeks in advance. With that said, we'd come back - just not at 7 on a Saturday. And we'd get there 15 minutes early to get a seat at the bar, just in case.
The food, drinks and staff were excellent Great local spot in Scarsdale, NY. Will return again

Our waiter Kal (Khalil) was fantastic. Such a gentlemen's touch at our table. A total pro!!
Steak came out well done not medium rare had to send it back side came out cold, service was terrible
We love this restaurant. Their ribeye steak is the best. Loved their onion rings and truffle French fries were great. Pedro, our server was so helpful.
I love the relaxed feel of this place . I definitely would return. We had the Tomahawk steak for 2 it was like butter! Our waitstaff were friendly and very anttentive. . Service was on point and the drinks were not overpriced!
All is done well but, face it, you're there for the steak and the porterhouse is consistently just PERFECT, every time. As a longtime foodie, I see no reason to venture into Manhattan for steak anymore. Best steakhouse in Westchester and the grandeur of the space (the former site of Zachys) evokes hints of Del Posto.
