We went there for a late dinner. The food was all right. We are and didn't pay attention to time. We ended a few minutes after 9. The minute we stepped out, the staff turned out the light and went outside too. They had been waiting for us to leave patiently and silently. Really appreciated it.

The store window, google and online says they close at 9:00. I came in at 8:53 and they quickly closed the lights and said they were closed. I asked what time they closed- she said now. I asked her what "now" meant and she looked at her watch and said 8:55. Not cool. Don't make people drive out and be shady like that.

I understand it was almost the end of the shift. I rather they told me, you ran out of soup rather than sell me half empty container at full price. Not cool.

Standard sushi and sashimi in a small space inside the Golden Horseshoe shopping center. Menu has all your typical sushi rolls, apps and entrees. Miso soup that came with entree was luke warm. Sashimi was clean and fresh, but lacking any hint of flavor of each type of fish. Wasabi was not the genuine kind and had zero kick when added to each piece. There is no background music playing so it can be eerily quiet if you’re the only table there. No reason to return

I've dined here on more than one occasion and while the sushi is usually good, some of their cooked items really miss the mark. I ordered the pork katsu this time and the meat was overcooked and overfried to a point where it was too hard to chew. Beware of the cooked items.
