I had their bagel and lox last week and it was just about the best I've ever had. Fresh and well toasted bagels, a great amount of cream cheese and delicious lox; nicely smoky, sliced thinly and extremely tasty. Onions and capers accompanied it and made for the perfect breakfast.
In all the years I've visited Scarsdale establishments, this is the first time I've ever been here. I wound up coming at the recommendation of my friend, hoping that I may have found a hidden gem. I had overheard the couple next to me hyping up the establishment and how great it is. The inside is your typical cozy diner setting, super simple, but not rundown by any means. I don't go to a deli for culinary glory; I go for comforting food, quick service, and a consistency. Like everything these days, it leans expensive, but the portions are large and the food is always good. Service is fast and friendly even when the place is packed. The ambience is classic deli.
