The food was delicious the service very good also! The owner of the restaurant welcomed and greeted and respectful! I always go there with family ans friends! Always leaving satisfied! Highly recommended!

It was four of us for dinner. Two from LI and two from CT. It was a return appearance for us all. The Baked Clams and Roasted Artichoke appetizers were very good. The disappointment was with one of the two Veal Chops ordered. One very very good while the other was very over cooked. When one of the servers asked how the food was, I shared the info. His comment was that they had a new chef tonight. No one ever apologized or even offered to remake the costly Veal Chop. Very disappointing! I had the Shrimp Scampi, which was excellent, however the Chicken Sapori entree that my friend order was actually burnt on the bottom and not edible. I couldn't believe it was served. It was almost as they tried to disguise it with a sauce! It was sent back and we didn't have it replaced. Instead, my friend got the Eggplant Parm appetizer which was just ok. No dessert last night. All in all, not a great dining experience food wise. Always good to see our friends though!

All of our starters were excellent 2 standouts were the grilled octopus and the burrata .For the main the pasta special was just delicious.Lobster shrimp calamari in a spicy sauce with perfectly cooked pasta. The short rib also highly rated.Staff was 10 out of 10 in every way

First time here, and the excellent reviews were right. Food was superior, service was excellent, prices were quite reasonable for a high quality restaurant like this. We'll def be back!

Disappointing. Our waiter was obnoxious - got the order wrong and insisted he was right. The manager then made a joke about it. No one apologized. The “incorrect” order which my friend accepted because she didn't want to make a scene was dry and unappetizing. And the restrooms were filthy. Would NEVER go back.

Sapori has the best service I have seen in years. Waiters who know the menu well, host who is warm and welcoming, and who pay attention to every last detail. Appetizers were all good, from grilled shrimp special, to Octopus and a great pasta fagiole soup. The porterhouse main is excellent, cooked perfectly, and even a simple pasta bolognese was better than our usual local Italian place. We'll done, we so enjoyed our meal.
Food was very good but meal was very rush. Dinner for 4 and I found myself shoving the last few bites into my mouth because they cleared everyone else's plate away while I was still eating. Then they stood over me for a few seconds waiting for me to be finished. Eventually I gave up and said just take it away. This happened with the appetizer as well as the main dinner.

Excellent food and service, as always! There were so many “specials” in addition to the menu, and each sounded so good! The Chilean Sea Bass special was delicious, as was the Lobster Ravioli. The Buratta appetizer and Tuna Tartar were excellent too. Great service as well!

ate outside. inside noisy. liked the food and the drinks were terrific. But there was a kind of snarky attitude by the waiter, who seemed profoundly disappointed that we weren't ordering up a storm. So we felt relegated to deserving less attention than other tables.
