Went here for lunch with the wife today. Restaurant week is over but they have the pre-fixe menu and is running it all year.
I had the steamed mussels, pappardelle, and apple pie with ice cream. The mussels were pretty good but I thought the pappardelle was excellent. Cooked al dente perfectly. I've been to more expensive places that were more talked about and they couldn't do a pappardelle as good as this place. The apple pie crust was crispy and on point.
Wife had the confit for appetizer, oxtail, and flan. Confit was OK but confit in general just isn't my thing. The oxtail was great too. Flan was good.
All in all we would definitely come here again. Pre-fixe lunch was $30 each which in this economy was a steal. Came here at a recommendation from a coworker, and I was glad I listened. 5/5!

Nelson was so welcoming! The salmon was excellent. The ambiance is warm with a downtown feel :) I recommend the Brussels sprouts.

They refused to give me a refund after I cancelled my order that I didn’t even get to eat. The manager or whoever was on the phone with me called me “sweetheart” in a very condescending way and the lady who handled me was not very polite. That was my last 30 dollars too.

Average at best. Food OK but boring. Seems like one of those places where an inspired chef set up but got bored and backed off. No direction of or for the staff. Almost like they couldn't be bothered. Essentially the place needs a spark or at least some top down direction. I'd pass.

We went out for the evening, with an unexpected visit to 808 bistro. To begin the service was amazing and food matched with equal elegance. David our back waiter, was amazing, my friends all really enjoyed our server Deanna, she was meticulous to detail and lovely with her approach to our table. Thanks for the great time we will be back!!!

Such a cute spot! We came in right as they were changing over for dinner, but ended up going with the lunch menu anyway. The staff was kind and helpful. The menus on iPads were fun! I really enjoyed the chicken, and my husbands burger was great!
We came away disappointed with our meal at 808.
We have been meaning to try this place for awhile and happened to be walking by on a Friday evening. The restaurant was pretty empty so we were able to be seated immediately. We ordered the bolognese, the short rib ravioli (daily special), and the eggplant stack as an appetizer.
We were excited for the daily special because Burrata down in south Eastchester makes a similar short rib Agnolotti pasta that is amazing. But this one fell way short. The seasoning they used overpowered the pasta and the meat was close to mush. 2/5
The bolognese was okay flavor wise but nothing that would standout against other Italian restaurants. However, some of the pappardelle noodles seemed to have stuck together during cooking/prep which resulted in some portions of undercooked pasta. 2/5
The eggplant appetizer was the best thing we tried, but we expected a lot more for the price. It only had two slices of fried eggplant, we hoped for at least a few so it wasn't over in two bites. 3.5/5
Service was fine, albeit a little confusing since they used about 4 different people. Food came out quickly so no complaints there. They did mess up one of our drink orders.
With the abundance of Italian restaurants in the area, hard to recommend coming to this place for the food. But the bar area did seem nice inside, so it could be a good place for happy hour.

I don't like giving a bad reviews but this was on another level of bad. The guy was pretty miserable and no help. Ok then lets move on to the food. The apps were burnt! Next main course tasted like frozen fish defrosted in a plastic bag in the microwave. It was basically inedible. The only time he asked us for anything was to wrap all this food that was left on the table. There was no saving this $100 terrible lunch. I love your location and the inside is really cute. But No way you should be serving food like this in Scarsdale. Please rethink your menu and staff. Maybe if only one was bad I can try again. But there is no way I'm trying this place again.
