I ordered a birthday cake for my mother's 96th birthday party. It was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen and the cake was very delicious. Could not have been more pleased!
Cupcakes are dry and not the flavor they say they are, it was so disappointing! The cookies are not chewy they were hard and also dry and the flavor was ok not great. I also got a piece of banana cream pie…. Which is my absolute favorite dessert and I literally could eat any banana cream pie from anywhere but NOT here!! Also they are quite expensive! Honestly don’t waste you money, you’d be better off going to price chopper for the same things but better…. So sad and disappointing!
Love stopping by to get a treat for a special occasion. Sometimes they are busy and service can be slow. The bakery items are worth the wait. If I am in a hurry I get it nextdoor from the diner.

Good bakery for cakes. They also have lots of macarons. Seemed pretty expensive though but other people say it’s better than other places. Cakes start at $30-40 and are small. Cupcakes are $6 each. Lots of options, decent size and look awesome. Inside they have filling but the cake batter itself is pretty average. The carrot cake one was the best. If you’re getting treats for a party be prepared it is pricey. Yet if you’re stopping in just for a pastry it is good.
There was a few pieces of hair or like lint on top of a cupcake and I read another review that said the same thing so hopefully the owner sees this.

I purchased a variety of cookies / pastry to try. Most of It was underwhelming, even bland. The prices are not terrible , but the food could be better.

Place looks like it was built in the 70s. Went to try the pies out mince and cheese was average and the palusami pie was cold when they gave it to us. I guess their pre made pies thrown into the oven not freshly baked in the mornings like normal bakeries. Wouldnt go back there again over priced and not worth it.

I ordered a cake here for a year end bbq picnic some friends of mine were having. Called Tuesday, picked up the cake on Friday. Somewhere between my five minute drive home, the cake was partially crushed. Noticed this and called, asking if it could possibly be redone. The woman on the phone consulted with her boss and they determined they could do it by the next day when I actually needed it, so I dropped it off half an hour before closing. My friend picked it up for the picnic the next day and it went very quick! Everyone loved it! 100/10, very impressed with the food and service.

They have awesome cheesecakes. I live in Florida and whenever I go back to New York I always get 2 cheesecakes. 1 to eat while there and the other to bring back home.

Can't really beat those prices.Stopped in to pick up some sweets on my way home from a company breakfast earlier in the day, and my old man had recommended me those spot as he knows I love to buy a bunch of baked goods on my cheat day.Ended up going with a wide sweep of sweets, a cheesecake cookie, a mini-monster cupcake, a lemon sprinkle cookie, a raspberry, blueberry, and strawberry madeleine cookie sandwich, a butter dipping cookie, a mini-cannoli, a lemon cream sandwich cookie, a cotton candy cream cookie sandwich, and a mega cherry cream cupcake. Like I said, a little of everything.Only ended up paying a bit over $18, very inexpensive for the treasure trove of goodies I picked. My favorite thing I had was the cheesecake cookie for sure, very glad I noticed it before stopping my selection. The madeleines were all rather dry sadly, which hurt their flavor. Same for the butter and lemon sprinkle cookies, but the cannoli was excellent and those lemon and cotton candy sandwich cookies had some great flavor that didn't overpower me like other bakeries tend to do. The cupcakes however I left for another day as that was a lot of sugar for one night.Sadly Blue Rose is out of my way in terms of regular trips home from work, so I don't see myself returning anytime soon, but I wouldn't say no on another day I have the time to drop in. They did have plenty of other things I could try.
