If I could it 100 stars I absolutely would!! From the moment we walked in, we knew we found our new favorite Caribbean restaurant. Being from downstate, I can honestly say we were spoiled with mouthwatering Caribbean cuisine. So our expectations were set high, and Caribe met every single one. The place is extremely clean and the service (by Maggie) superb. But now to the important part: the food!! My husband and I ended up sharing the oxtail dish and the mofongo with chicharron (pork). We substituted the salad for tostones and maduros (sweet plantains). Both dishes were fantastic! The oxtail was very well seasoned and served with a side of rice and beans. The mofongo was NOT dry and came with a delicious garlic sauce. The chicharrones were crunchy and perfectly fried. We ended the dinner with a delicious flan (I don’t like overly sweet desserts and this was just that). Do yourself a favor…make the drive to Caribe. You won’t regret it!

After living in the Bronx for four years I crave the good food…. But Caribe is just as good. The flavor of the food is perfect, the service was amazing. We met the owner Maggie and she was lovely and took good care of us. We will be frequently visiting. Try the chicharrón, mofongo and the rabo.

Went in for the first time, let me tell you the jerk chicken is a must try mouthwatering well cooked and seasoned DELICIOUS .. The service was great the environment was friendly and warm I cannot express how good the peril was even after I ate a full jerk chicken the drinks also good as well 10/10 would come again

Everything looked great and wanted to get a meal but didn’t have much time so I went with my favorite apps.. unfortunately it was still fairly new and my relleno de papa was raw and my alcapuria…. Better luck next time? Will try again the other stuff when I have more time.

We had a wonderful dinner here! Authentic delicious Dominican/ Puerto Rican food. Wonderful and friendly owner and staff. We will be back!

An excellent fusion of Puerto Rican and Dominican cuisine in a friendly atmosphere. The staff was very welcoming. We felt right at home and the flavors were just right. Not salty, not bland, but very flavorful. The alcapurritas were delicious and the garlic sauce was the perfect touch. The pernil was tender and flavorful with the perfect skin crunch. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could.
