I have been here before and always liked it but tonight was really great. My band played there and we had a blast. The crowd was big, the atmosphere great and to top it off Josh the bartender was one of the nicest and coolest guys I have ever dealt with. He made the night much greater. We also met a light person Beth Donnelly, incredible and kind. Highly recommend her for events. We really look forward to coming back. Bravo.
Great beer choices. New kitchen and menu. Only suggestions is. Use cash over card.
I have been attending concerts and shows here since it has opened. A couple of years ago the check in person tried to steal my wallet when it dropped out of my bag, saying it wasn't mine. It clearly had my driver's license visibly with my photo on the front. They apologized and she said sorry, but last year she started accusing me of taking of my "shirt" while dancing. She embarrassed me yelled at me to leave threatening she'd called the police. Then a bar tender all in rage told me to leave. I had a heavy college hoodie on and definitely was not taking it off. I tried emailing management, but have not received a response. I try not to go to places alone because of stuff like this happening. I was alone and if I wasn't I know I would have been fine. I do not recommend this establishment, very unprofessional and scary. I live right across the street and like to meet people here and have a place to meet client's. The college I attend does business here and its sad that I know longer can recommend FROG ALLEY because of safety concerns with staff, that is supposed to enforce safety. when she's not there its been a great experience. 👌
I was greated by a rude blue-haired lady without a hello but rather, its 15 dollars to just sit at the bar. Wont be going there again to spend my my money. What a fluke
Low-quality beer, rude staff, overpriced. Stay away and try out the many better breweries in the area!
I was on the annual Wing-Walk. I chose this as my number 1 wing.
Great venue, but wow. Terrible staff. Slow, slow, and slow. Tried to get a tv tuned to a Yankee game and you’d think they didn’t know how to work a tv.
Great patio for some late September MNF
The atmosphere is decent. The drinks are moderately priced. I had a trucking truffle melt grilled cheese and I thought the sandwich tasted okay. It feels like drunk people food made to offer more in texture than flavor. My thoughts were confirmed when I had the fries. They were extremely salty and hard to enjoy perhaps I hadn't had enough to drink to get the proper experience? This was on September 13th coyote ugly night. The chef was nice though
My daughter and I went to Frog Alley on a Tuesday night for the line dancing. I was immediately impressed with the large outdoor seating area and spacious interior that included a big dance area. Unfamiliar with their brews, I asked the bartender, Sawyer, for help selecting. She made a few suggestions and provided samples. Since I’m an older woman and very short, I usually get ignored when I step up to a bar, but she came over right away and was super friendly so I felt very comfortable going back to her for a refill. We enjoyed the dance lessons followed by open dancing until 10pm. It was terrific to see the dance floor packed with people of all ages and abilities on a weeknight. The music was lively and diverse. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun and will definitely be back.

Great beer selection, great atmosphere.
Beer is great. Servers are friendly, just get to know them. Location? Well…it’s Schenectady but they do a great job considering.
The food!!! I was so thrilled to see the grilled cheese options. Delicious and super high quality ingredients. Nicest person ever cooking also-I think he was the owner? This place and the grilled cheese made my day. So happy to have stumbled upon it.
The outdoor patio and live music were great. Dark beers: The porter and Charlie Brown (?) were good. I saw one of the bartenders eating something amazing and she gave me the details. I ordered it at the window that used to serve brick oven pizza, and it was an off menu item. Not sure if they’ll do it every day but definitely order the buffalo chicken fries. Comes topped with fresh, diced jalapeños, tomatoes, and shredded lettuce, and a generous amount of blue cheese or ranch and buffalo sauce. And don’t let the size fool you, that’s a whole entire meal.
Big place, good atmosphere. Wish they offered mixed 4 packs of beer. Great place to check out, and part of the 2025 Passport series.
