About Gershon's Deli

Gershon's Deli is a classic spot known for delicious, well-portioned sandwiches. The roast beef sandwich is a favorite, filled with thin, pink slices of meat. The whitefish salad sandwich and French dip are also recommended, both served with tasty half sour pickles. The menu offers hearty options like corned beef and pastrami with coleslaw piled high. The potato salad is creamy and satisfying. Customers praise the pastrami and the French dip, calling them amazing and a must-try. Service is friendly and quick, making for a great overall experience. The deli has a large selection of salads and meats, including salmon and whitefish, and offers kosher food and catering. It features traditional, old-world favorites such as hot pastrami, corned beef, and chopped liver, along with overstuffed sandwiches, grilled chicken and burgers, and homemade salads and soups prepared fresh daily. The sit-down service, outdoor seating, and on-street parking add to its appeal. Guests often enjoy signature desserts like cheesecakes, bobkas, and rugelach from New York City. Despite occasional mix-ups, the friendly atmosphere and consistent quality keep customers coming back for over 25 years. Gershon's remains a reliable choice for a filling and flavorful meal.

Best Matzo Ball soup in the world. I have some food limitations, but their soup I can eat AND I'd like to thank them for not raising their prices during these challenging times.

I look forward to the day I can eat more than just soup. Gershon's is the best local deli and I truly appreciate...read full review
