This place doesn’t not disappoint at all. They only have been open for 4 months and everything they do is perfect. The first thing you notice when you go in there is how clean everything is, from floors, walls, seating, kitchen, etc. The food is unmatched by any other, very generous portions, the quality is excellent and the taste is consistently amazing. They cook their food well and the spices are perfect. The price is very reasonable for the quality of their dishes. Lastly, the workers there are extremely respectful, kind and hospitable. They make me feel welcomed every time I come in especially now that I’m a regular there. Keep up the good work!“

“The restaurateur was great and very friendly. He suggested the Chicken Yassa since they were out of the chicken curry. This meal was great! The flavor and blend of spices was perfect. Everything was delicious and tender. I can’t wait to go back and try their fried chicken and other food. They make the fried chicken fresh to order so I can only imagine how good it will be. My wife and I will definitely be coming back.“

“I love the food here, and the people at TanDoori House are fantastic. As a vegetarian, I love having so many options on the menu to choose from, and whether you do pickup or delivery, it’s always delicious. Their chana masala is top tier, and so are their saag paneer and vegetable samosas. For dessert, definitely go for the rice pudding. I’ve ordered here several times and it never disappoints!“

We spent a little over $30, and the food was ready right on time. Even after driving 20 minutes to get home, the food was still piping hot and delicious! Monica, who's usually picky, got her meal exactly how she wanted it, and the quality was outstanding. Although there was a slight wait when we picked up, the staff was really friendly, and the food was well worth it. “I can't forget that Peshewari Naan and Bombay Aloo. Two awesome items with perfect balance of spice. They asked us the spice level we would prefer. This is something indian restaurants usually do not ask. Loved that part. Two other items were onion naan (was good) but the Mughlai chicken, something was off about it. It could be the balance of sweet or the salt was not right. I felt like I am eating a thik gravy. I believe the tea was over brewed and to balance it more milk was poured in. That's just an opinion as I know taste of tea is very subjective. Besides all of this the portion of one order was good for two. I think they are underrated by themselves. I would recommend them to change the whole seating arrangement. Also, update your restaurant name to Ahmed Restaurant. It was hard to find it.Spend $36 for two. (1. “Arrived in Albany to meet and visit my friend. Was hungry and craving Indian food and decided to try Spicy Mint. The gentleman who took my take out order was friendly and helpful, made me feel welcome. I ordered a samosa chaat and garlic naan, both were incredibly delicious. Spicy Mint is a wonderful place to eat in my humble opinion. I had a positive experience and after traveling so many hours by bus and train from Michigan what a delight it was to eat such tasty food.
