“If you go, and you should. Get the loaded hot dogs! I usually order to go and get either the hot dogs or their open faced turkey sandwich.I only ate inside once, and they were super busy, but we still received our food, delicious and hot.Absolutely go here if you are able.“
“My husband & I go at least once a week he always gets a sundae & I a strawberry w/ real chocolate sprinkles love that sprinkles are real chocolateI’m just a little disappointed about the eating area wish it was cleaner.Ice cream & food was excellent, great customer service also ?“
“First Prize Mike's is defiantly a restaurant that is worth trying. Their hotdogs with mustard, onions, and meat sauce are very good. They have been in business since 1947 and it is a well known spot in Schenectady. Service is very fast and friendly. Good meals can be had here at affordable prices. The restaurant serves fresh coffee, but only has a vending machine for soda or water. You can eat in or takeout. If in the area stop by for some food at a well known local spot.“
“love the burgers and fries. always hot and fresh. I would like to come there with out employees pants pulled down showing their underwear and crack of doom. its a huge appettite looser employees walking around with their pants not pulled up all the way.“
“Located inside Colonie Mall, the smell was so good hubby and I had to try them. The cheeseburgers were very good and fries were just right. Loved the selection machine for the drinks. The employees were friendly.Vegetarian options: Other than the fries, all I saw vegan/vegetarian was a veggie sandwich. No idea if the bread would have been vegan. I do not know if they offer milk substitute s for the milkshakes.“
“I like this new hot dog establishment alot.I became its first customer when it had a grand opening last Saturday (December 10) just after it opened, which is located at the food court at Colonie Center, that took over Mr.Subb's former spot. Here is a photo of it and what its menu looks like.“
“Many of my favorite dishes are foreign cuisine changed up for an American audience--the Philadelphia roll, General Tso's, Taco Salad, BBQ chicken pizza. You might not think the reverse would appeal to someone like me, but I love Kong Dog, which is basically hot dogs and mozzarella sticks made to appeal to Koreans. The dogs and cheese sticks are excellent, savory, sweet, crunchy AF. I highly recommend this place.“
“I was attending Jury Duty and was looking for somewhere close by to eat and came upon this spot. Very cozy but busy diner, and the staff there are so friendly and attentive. You see all types of customers, from locals to professionals. I can tell it’s a staple in the community!“
