I would go here any day before I ever go to a subway. The food is good and they’ll make it to order. I don’t eat here a whole lot because I drive tractor trailer and I’m on the road six days a week but when I’m around doing laundry, I’ll go in and get food.

Very friendly staff and fresh food. However the atmosphere is a little lacking with unused equipment and not really showing who Lyle is. Subs were exactly as requested with fresh bread. If they just organized unused equipment with a purpose or removed it and gave it a Lyle theme it would be such a welcoming place for subs/sandwiches. Once again good subs/sandwiches in Schenectady! Go today!

On May 14, 2025, we took home 2 delicious ham/cheese hoagies, made specially to our preferences too. Nice, friendly staff and always a clean restaurant .

Not what it used to be. Sandwiches are thin, barely any sauce on the sub. I used to really like it here. I thought it was a fluke the first time I got a pathetic looking sub but unfortunately that seems to be the new norm. I’ll be going elsewhere from now on

Really sucks that they’re not consistent. Got a sub tonight and it was more bread than anything. I’m very disappointed. Even with it being a new person, there should still be a level on consistency. Very disappointed.

Spent $75 on a Tuesday and was disappointed, the lettuce was no good tasted spoiled and old, than very little meat, I got 3- footlong subs 3- bags of chips and 3- drinks, 3- cookies NOT worth it at all a dissatisfied won't be back customers
I am writing u about a problem in your state street store about 8 pm today your employees where very disrespectful and rude I was ordering my food mean while the person that came in behind me and stands waiting to be helped while my sandwich and wrap are being made he looks at the guy making my food and said are they working (the 3 employees in the back ) who are doing nothing literally but talking about back and forth the guy next to me (my brother ) said I been standing here waiting on u and the female get a nasty attitude and he said no he w doesn’t want to order after watching them ignore him they have words he leaves out no I have not said a word the guy making my food says is he with u I say that has nothing to do with me then he says well I’m not serving u with attitude I’m like what he then say get out I’m calling the cops so I go outside and wait for them I have going to your establishment since 1989 and I have NEVER EVER BEEN EMBARRASSED OF DISRESPECTED LIKE THAT AND THEY LITERALLY POINTED AT ME TO EVERY CUSTOMER AND WRITING DOWN MY PLATE NUMBER LIKE IM A THUG VERY DISAPPOINTED I DONT know who needs to handle this situation if u watch the cameras ? u will see that they need to be replaced I have never been so embarrassed in my like today

Didn’t get what I asked for. I wanted a hot Italian sub with banana peppers got none asked for their dressing. The bread was dry very disappointing and the bread is not what it used to be. It was also dry. Will not go back again.
