The place was clean and well illuminated, while the staff was friendly and efficient. I got exactly what I asked for. The turkey on white bread sandwich. The horseradish mayo sauce was just right. Not to aggressive or bland. It was so good I finished it all. The potato salad was good too. I will be going back for more and try a different combination next time.
Had to pay a visit to Slicks before they officially close their doors next week. I ordered a roast beef on rye and it was enormous! Like 4 inches tall enormous! Not to mention it was the freshest roast beef I've ever had! Well worth the $15! I was able to split it with my girl and we were both full! I wish I had visited them more often and I'm definitely sad to see them go! Do yourself a favor and stop by before they officially close down next week!
