“The online menu being in Spanish kind of held me back from ordering to go in the past. I didn't want to order the wrong thing/ not be sure how to order.I finally went in person. Everything was easy to understand and in english.This is the best Rice I've had anywhere.The roasted pork was fantastic. Roasted chicken was very good. Prices very fair. Staff very friendly.11/10. One of the best restaurants in the capital district.“
“I have to say. The place does'nt look all that. But, this is one of those little shack places that have those long lines. Because, the food is very full of the best that the latin culture has to offer. The pernil is to die for. The spanish rice is even better. My wife is indian. And she loves there food. I do too. Must try. If your looking for the original flavor of Puerto Rican and Dominican food. These folks got it down packed. Just order your food to go. Eat at home. Your family will believe you cooked it yourself.“
“What an excellent little place! The empanadas in particular are just amazing. Highly recommend getting one or two or five. ? The curly fries were great too. We will be coming back again for some more empanadas and to try the fried Oreos & fried twinkies.“
“Just a Great Place to Eat! I've been an Albany area resident all my life and never had dinner at Barcelona prior to now. We got lucky with no reservation and were seated right away. It's a very nice atmosphere, white tablecloths and sweet surroundings. Our server Anne was superb. The orders were for chicken, clams and mussels, and scallops. Each dinner was very tasty, done just right. The sauces were excellent, no need to expound further. I hope this wasn't a freak visit. When I return I want the experience to be the same.“
