I love southern food but hate leftovers. I ordered the lobster mac 'n' cheese and didn't expect the huge serving. I ate about 1/3 and took the rest home. I literally never eat leftovers and I actually ate these leftovers twice. Obviously it's better at the restaurant but the fact that I ate it twice after is saying a lot! Not only is the food fantastic but the service and drinks are fantastic!!
My sister took us here about three years ago. The food was fabulous, but somewhat pricy. She dropped us off and parked somewhere off the street. I wanted to surprise my wife with taking her for dinner before heading for the casino, but no close parking. Because of the long walk or risk of having my vehicle towed away while at the restaurant, we are not visiting. Really too bad.
This was a quality dining experience. I had the blackened scallops and my wife had the smoked chicken and both were excellent. I love scallops, and these were uniquely creative - good work, chef! If you like bourbon, I recommend the Smoking Gun craft cocktail - not that I have drank many bourbon cocktails in my life, but this one was excellent. My wife had the Southern Belle cocktail and it was also fine.
