Sunday lunch hit at The Ruck² on 148 Clinton in Schenectady. Buffalo garlic parm wings, honey BBQ wings, pickle-back fried chicken sandwich, and a cold Sloop Juice Bomb IPA.

First time there. Had a Reuben. Very good, wife had mushroom and Swiss impossible burger. Enormous. Fries were great, nice and hot. Reasonably priced beers. I’m not a craft beer person but that had a good selection and more coming. I’ll be back.
My sister and I checked out The Ruck2 tonight, and it was fantastic! The food was cooked perfectly! We asked for our wings extra crispy, they were, and not over cooked. We had the buffalo garlic parm and Thai peanut, both were delicious. The best wings we’ve had in a while. And loved the blue cheese dressing! We also had the Pickleback Burger, with their hand cut fries, cooked as ordered, also delicious. And our server, Caleigh, and manager, Patrick, were awesome! Very welcoming...read full review

The Ruck² is a downtown Schenectady establishment with plenty of room for groups of all sizes. The food is good, and groups love the burgers as well as the $1 wing special. The atmosphere tends to be loud, and it is difficult to hear the music. The service is friendly, but the restaurant is clearly understaffed and service is slow. The Ruck² has not been open very long, and it is likely that they will quickly work out any glitches that often accompany a new opening. The food, service, and vibe are just as exceptional as the original in Troy. Staff, vibe, and music are too good for this place to ever sit empty. The server is friendly and checks in often. The atmosphere is okay, and it looks like they have some games. The pretzel bites are okay, but the mustard is plain yellow mustard. The boneless wings are also just okay, and the honey hot sauce is good.
