This was my first time going to Ya Ya's House Southern Cuisine after seeing so many wonderful reviews. I got the cat fish dinner and peach cobbler for desert. Best Southern food I have ever had, the food was delicious and customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend place.

The food was good but didn't give me that Wow I got to get more of this --- The atmosphere seems really nice-- The service gave you that WOW !!!Just for clarity I will eat there again --- I hope that shows that I wasn't saying the food was terrible ---
The catfish was absolutely amazing the sides I had I wasn’t to happy about . The sides needed a little bit more love . Next time I will just get fish no sides .

Everything was delicious in the wings were perfectly crispy. Do you want the most bang for your buck get the full wings.

Yes ma’am! I’ve lived in NY now for 19 years and thought I was never going to taste my Mamaw’s cookin’ again. Rest her soul. Let me tell you !! Ya Ya made me feel like I was in her kitchen! EVERY bite of EVERY dish on that menu… Huge helpings! And the desserts ? I just can’t ! Mmm mmm I tell you what ! Everything made from the heart!

Fried catfish was delicious. The lemon pepper wings were absolutely awesome. Corn bread was crumbly and great. Had red velvet cake, cause the lady said they were out of lemon pound cake, and that to was fantastic.
I was in town for a bowling tournament and was staying at a nearby hotel and looking for spots to eat. This place popped up and it looked good so me and my friend decided to give this place a try. I must say everything was on point!! I ordered the two piece catfish dinner with collard greens and Mac and cheese along with candied yams and everything was very tasty!! The catfish was cooked to perfection…Mac and cheese was on point as well…collard greens were nice and were just the way I like them and the yams were great as well!! Staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was ok!! If I ever come up to these parts again, I’m definitely coming to this place!!
So glad all the Italian restaurants were full before our show at Proctors because we ended up at Yaya's! Immediately greeted with a smile and warm feel of grandma's warm embrace ? Once our food came it was all mouth watering smiles and the food was amazing! It all went down like a BBQ backyard party with a smooth summer breeze covered in soulful blessings. The night was great for and a great time at Proctors Annie debut. Thank you YAYA's we'll definitely be back soon.
Fabulous place to get your Southern food fix. Fried chicken delicious and not greasy at all. Candied yams and collards wonderful. Amazing cornbread. Peach cobbler excellent, although a bit too much nutmeg IMHO. No ambience, but great friendly people. Literally steps away from Proctor's back entrance. Highly recommended.
