The Sunset Club at Tappen Beach

The atmosphere is nice. Right on the beach. Comfortable seating. But the food is barely passable. Drenched in sauce. I asked for sauce on the side. The waiter would not bring another one. He is the rudest person I have ever met. I did not have drinks so I can’t have an opinion about the bar area. If I could give zero stars I would.

Tried to like this place but the customer service is below par. Fire pit tables are not worth it. Comes with no service. Weird way to run business

Great food and beautiful waterfront scenery. Watching the sunset here made the experience even more special.

I had such high hopes for this place because omg the location is so beautiful, so prime. The worst was that they served me a steak sandwich on a BURGER BUN like what?!?! It came apart before I took my first bite. For the menu and the price you’d think you would get a full service experience but you have to order yourself through your phone. The idea isn’t bad but it just doesn’t make sense. The place would do better as a pizzeria with gelato for dessert and a self serve salad bar.

Blackened fish tacos were bad. Wouldn’t know what they were. Blackened rolls of fish I guess. Ugh I’d never order again. Stick to the burger which is very good .

The sunset is truly incredible. The beach, the relaxation, the peaceful vibes with a quaint secluded beach. At times they have the festival where it's fun for the entire family to do in addition to the relaxation of the ambiance this beach offers.

Stopped in for drinks. Bizarre experience, asked for a Miami Vice (a beach staple) and the bartender claimed he’d 'never even heard of it,' despite serving us Rocket Fuels. Clearly just didn't want to make it. Plenty of other spots nearby with better vibes and bartenders who actually know the basics. Skip this one if you want friendly service.

Very pricey and no table service. You have to order food at your table.

If you want drinks, you have to go to the bar, even for water. Super annoying however it keeps you from wanting to drink more.

Food is decent, the fries are great and the chicken nuggets were the best. Steak was tasty as well though very expensive.

Cocktails were good too but again, this place should have table service. You reserve a fire pit table for $$$ but everything else is dependent on you, which is ridiculous.

The beach club has an absolutely stunning view — the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean. The service was ok and the vibe was great. The only downside was the food, which didn’t quite live up to the setting. Still, the view and overall experience made it worth visiting.

I didn't eat but I heard the food was amazing. I came here to celebrate my 45th birthday and the atmosphere was amazing. Lily and Ashley were amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this spot.
