The first time we came to this bakery, we got the best rainbow cookies. They were moist and delicious. The last 3 times we came here, the rainbow cookies were consistently old and dry! I think they were possibly a week old. Cannolis were not good either recently. Can’t find myself coming back and spending significant amount of money on ancient goods. Really and truly, you can’t be selling old food. It’s ridiculous. What you can’t sell, give them away at the end of the day or have your staff take them home.

I found Capri bakery almost by accident. When I go to my doctors office on Merrick Rd. I always try to pick up something for the staff. I was fortunate enough to interact with Ms.Sofia and her lovely daughter Rachel. They are two of the most pleasant people you will meet and add to this wonderful bakery. They are so helpful, courteous and know just what every item is and as per my wife, Rachel makes a great cappuccino! The items are fresh with a wide variety with everything from cakes, desserts, pies, pound cakes and bread. Rachel and Ms. Sofia only add to the ambience and experience. I wholeheartedly advise those in the area to check it out and you will not be disappointed with the selection, items and staff. Bravo to Capri for having such hard working folks especially Rachel and Ms. Sofia.

Everything that I’ve ordered from Capri has been delicious. I had a special request for a lemon custard filling, so I asked Robert the baker if he could make it? He said he would give it try and it’d be the first. Now remember this wasn’t a pudding or the filling of a lemon meringue pie. I wanted a lemon custard. Well, let me tell you it was the best cake we’ve had in a long time. Thank you Robert for making my birthday special with a delicious cake! ?

I worked with Robert for a customized cake for my cousins baby shower and he exceeded my expectations with service, product and price. He was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end and will be going to Capri going forward for customized cakes and will be the staple of pastries during family or friends events that I attend.
