Had a wonderful meal here last night! Food was delicious and service was amazing at this unexpected gem of a restaurant. It was recommended to us and we’re passing along that recommendation. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Sackett’s may not look like much from the outside, but it’s well worth a visit!

Very cute little place that is just not living up to what it promises. We went on Tuesday night so maybe staff was not bringing it's A game, but for a place that bills itself as a cocktail and steak restaurant, it missed on both. We had to ask to see a cocktail menu which only had 4 or so options. I asked for a standard drink and then had to tell the waitress what was in it. The cocktail was not great. They do not seem to trim the steaks at all. 1/4 of my plate was untrimmed fat. For $22 PLUS cost of steak the cooks sear your steak and give you a tiny portion of 2 sides. Our sides were crazy over cooked squash (Seriously, we had a discussion about what it even was bc it was so overcooked) and potatoes, so 2 root veg. Could not tell if the steak was seasoned at all, and had to ask for salt 2x. Was finally given salt at the end of the meal when we were ready for boxes. I wanted to love this place but for the food and the service the price is not worth it.

The service was good.the waitress was attentive & pleasant.
They have a bat with wine, cocktail & beer selections.
I gave it 2 stars coz the menu selection was very limited, we’re early so there’s no wait time but the waiting time for the order to arrive was more than 30 minutes, burger was dry.
It’s a tiny restaurant with a meat shop. U can choose your steak but with additional charges of $20+ each.

Do not come to this restaurant. They only care about how much $$$ they can make off your party. If you are a small group and/or do not order alcohol, prepare for a complete lack of care, attention, or respect.

This was by far dining experience I’ve ever had, and calling it a “dining” experience is generous at best. The restaurant was a letdown from the start. We were seated at high top that was noticeably slanted. If we had a pen it would have definitely rolled off!!

It took over 10 minutes to get water, and another 5 to get cups for the water. Upon ordering, the waitress seemed annoyed that we didn’t order any alcohol.

10+ minutes after ordering we finally got bread. However, after finishing our bread and water, it took around 15 minutes for anyone to come replace the water [never got any more bread :(]. The entire time we were waiting the establishment was also very noisy, it was near impossible to talk to my partner across the table. This isn’t something the restaurant can control, but it made the experience all the more unpleasant.

Over an hour after we had ordered our salad appetizer, the waitress came over and insisted it was about to come out. 5 minutes later nothing came, but the large table who sat down and ordered well after us did receiver their food. And for those curious, they had ordered alcohol which was served nearly immediately to them upon ordering.

We left immediately after this blatant act of disrespect. None of the staffed noticed. In fact, we crossed by the restaurant again after dropping by another local store (DAs liquor), and our table hadn’t even been cleared.

Eat literally anywhere else in town. Your wallet and time will thank you.

Beware—- they will only pay attention to you here if you are a large party or drinking heavily.

Curt service from the beginning. They were not the most polite on the phone when we called to make a reservation, but we figured it was a one-off. It unfortunately was not a one off.

When we got there, it was all downhill. As soon as we said we weren’t ordering drinks, it became clear they didn’t want us there. The waitress asked if we were sure we didn’t want drinks, then if we wanted to keep the menu for drinks. We said no, and they decided to focus on other parties instead. After that, we waited ten minutes to get water, and when it came there were no glasses.

Can’t say how the food is because it never came. We put in our order (two apps and two entrees) at 7:06 pm. At 8:15 pm there was still no sign of food, despite the waitress saying it was coming soon. When we saw a party that had ordered a good deal after us get their food, we left. No one noticed when we left either.

I felt bad leaving, but I have never waited over an hour for a salad appetizer and I don’t want to spend money at a place that doesn’t want me there.

I am writing this from a fabulous pub downtown, where the bartender greeted us when we came in and the salad I ordered didn’t take an hour. Highly recommend you spend your money at red brick pub instead.

Sacketts Table is a shadow of what it once was. The food quality is mediocre, the service is listless and the menu choices routine - a burger, fried chicken, a pork chop and of course steak.Very disappointing given how wonderful it was just recently.

This place is not what it used to be. Used to absolutely love it and recommended it as best in area. Has seriously gone downhill in just a few months with a boring menu and poorly cooked food. Was going nearly once a month but will never be back.

3 stars across the board.

The waitress was nice and attentive.

We ordered the Delmonico steak and it was prepared correctly (med rare per our request)and seasoned well, but it was very nervy. At least 5-6 bites had to be spit out into my napkin because they just wouldn’t relent after 20-30 chews. They clearly do not trim their steaks well enough. There was an excessive amount of fat on the steak too.

I’m not sure what the heck was in the mashed potatoes to turn them a dinghy brown color. It certainly wasn’t gravy! I can only presume that they dump the grease and fat from braising the steak, into the potatoes which were horrible.

Presentation left a lot to be desired. The string beans were not steamed long enough, were hard, and they were haphazardly tossed on top of the brown mashed potatoes. This looked more like a high school cafeteria meal to me than a $50/plate steak (including the $22 “meat prep fee”) restaurant. I think I’m in the wrong business. I can spread salt, pepper and olive oil on a steak, braise it myself with thyme and rosemary sprigs, add some butter and save the $22 fee.

I’ll skip this place next time.

The only thing that appealed to me here was the flight of wine.

We had dinner here tonight and what a delight !! Food was amazing. Especially the fried chicken stuffed with apple chutney. Amazing. The Delmonico steaks are incredible as well. A must stop if you are in Seneca Falls.

The cinnamon sugar and cayenne butter for our pre meal bread was awesome. I had the strip steak and was prepared just how I ordered, medium rare. Wife got the vegan curry dish which was also amazing. I’ll be back for sure! The sticky drips sour ale tantalized my tastebuds!
