Delicious. I've ordered probably 20 different things from here, and it's been great each time.

My go-to had been a chimichanga, but recently I moved over to their take on the Crunchwrap.

The interior of the store is nice and clean, and step-up from their previous location.

Staff is always very nice and friendly.

This is THE spot. We almost exclusively eat Mexican food when we go out and every single time we go here we’re so happy. Atmosphere is prime, food is outstanding and it’s maybe the only place on Long Island that I feel like is fairly priced. Must have.

Food was fantastic. The only issue was that we ordered two ground beef and cheese empanadas and one buffalo chicken empanada, specifically because one of us doesn't eat beef. When the server pointed out which one was the chicken one, they mixed it up. And our friend ended up biting into the beef one. The dietary restriction is a religious one, so it was an unfortunate situation for us. We realize it was an honest mistake, but it kind of ruins the experience if these things happen.

I recently visited Tex Chicos Mex and had an incredible dining experience! I started with the dry rub wings, which were perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor—absolutely delicious.

Next, I tried the birria tacos, and they were nothing short of amazing. The tender, juicy meat paired with the rich, savory consommé made each bite unforgettable.

I also ordered a steak burrito, which was hearty, flavorful, and packed with perfectly cooked steak and fresh ingredients. It was generously portioned and so satisfying!

On top of the amazing food, our server, Allie, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience even better. Her great service was the cherry on top of a fantastic meal.

Overall, we absolutely loved Tex Chicos Mex and will totally be back!
