If you're looking for good BBQ, this place is it! A family favorite. A great atmosphere and a really warm and cozy vibe. The service is always friendly and helpful.We find that the portions are pretty good. The food is always tasty and fresh. I love the brisket but my husband is a huge fan of the ribs! I love the creamed spinach and mashed sweet potato. Any of the sides offered are great as well! Every-time we come, they never disappoint. We have done take out as well and again, the portions are great! Truly the best BBQ spot close to home!

Great food! Great service! Just an all around awesome place to visit for a low key delicious meal. Deanna the bartender is amazing and very attentive to her customers. I could tell she has many regulars that are repeat customers because of her service and professionalism. For a food recommendation, 100% get the Beet Salad and Fried Chicken Sandwich. The Feta Dip is also delicious. And we will never visit without getting their homemade cornbread.

Beautiful restaurant with cozy decor. There is indoor and outdoor dining. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and it was DELICIOUS! It came with thin fried everything bagel slices. We ordered the burnt end brisket sandwich with fries. You are able to switch out the side for onion rings. No extra cost. The sandwich comes with bbq sauce so sub that out if you don't like it as sweet. Friendly staff

Excellent Food ! I have been going here since they opened - since they transitioned to full wait service the experience has improved 1000% I was fortunate to be at the tavern when they offered two specials that I ordered (Oct 2022) - truffle soup and a burger topped with short ribs and truffle. It was delicious !These two specials should be a regular menu item, I would just come back to enjoy the specials again and againIf you like bbq - this is your place and if you are quick witted try to understand the artwork - it deciphered the code on my last visit !

There were 4 of us for dinner. We were sat at a back corner table which was perfect for conversation. Most of us had a hamburger, it was a little over cooked for a medium rear. The restaurant was not busy at all, and it seemed like it took a little long to get our first round of drinks. The young lady that took care of our table was very friendly and had a good personality. Everyone enjoyed their meal and it was quiet enough for us to have conversations without any problems.

Ate at the bar with a small group. Service (Deanna) was excellent and the food was great. Burnt end sandwich was phenomenal! In fact, everything we ordered was excellent (apps, burgers, drinks). And the dessert (bread pudding) was the best! We will be back. Thanks Old Fields!

I was disappointed in last night's dinner( Sept 3). We had undercooked wings, overcooked dry brisket, undercooked "roasted chicken" on the salad. Service was good but it was almost like whoever was cooking was not their usual cook and it made the entire difference. Perhaps they were overusing their air fryer for food that normally isn't cooked that way. I probably wouldn't go back, which is a shame because I do not think it was their usual. Did they send their good cook to the opening of their new restaurant, Luca? So sorry.

Really liked my time here! We sat outside, nice space to outdoor dine and the vibe was great. The brisket was delicious. I will be returning, I'd like to try other items on their menu.

I went on a Friday, around 7:30pm. We were a party of 2, we shared everything but the drinks. The ambiance is American, kind of homey. The bar are is really lovely.To drink I ordered a spicy mango margarita it was good, I didn't get much of the mango though. We shared a burnt end brisket sandwich, it was delicious! The pickle that came with the sandwich wasn't very good, but no big deal. The bun was sweet but not too sweet, the meat had great flavor. We also shared the smoked wings. Really delicious! The sauces were very good too.Our server was a nice man. He was friendly and checked on us a perfect amount. He forgot our water but it was no big deal.The menu changed since the last time I ate here. There are less BBQ options on the menu which were missed. Overall I had a nice experience. I would return.

We had been coming here for some time and loved it! The atmosphere, food and drinks became a summer standard for us.The last year or so, we started noticing a change. The food wasn't the same caliber. The orders of ribs were a different cut and no way as good as they were. Also seems that their hours weren't what they were, so our visits started to scale back. Well we went back about a month ago and are now over what was a great place. Not only did their premise change but the food was a sad comparison to what we used to enjoy. My Wife's fried chicken was so salty it was inedible. Even the drink menu changed. Obviously, nothing lasts forever.
My wife and I are thrilled we found this place and we can't wait to become regulars. Awesome atmosphere. We sat at the bar and the staff was super attentive and made a few great app recommendations, including some baby back rib egg rolls (yeah, you heard me). Servings were large and filling.

Came here with some friends for dinner. The place was pretty empty but it was a weekday so maybe that was why. We ordered a bunch of different things to try. The presentation was pretty but it was a little weird for everyone to reach around each other to try to grab the items we ordered or even figure out what portion was ours. The meats were okay. Not the best bbq I've ever had. They were a tad on the dry side. The redeeming factor was that all the sides were delicious. The next time i go back I'll probably just order a bunch of sides and be a happy camper! Service was great.

Me and my husband came here for the first time 8/14/22 and I wish we found this place sooner. We have been trying to find a good BBQ place and we finally did the food is amazing good real southern feel type of food. When you walk inside you truly feel like you are down south. The decor is beautiful its like an upscale rustic southern barn feel and it has a great bar with drinks that complement the food very well. As soon as we walked in we sat at the bar a felt very welcome by another customer and a great bar tender named Carl. We will definitely come back

We love this place! The shrimp tostados and smoked wings are the best appetizers, the ribs are unreal andnsk delicious. The service is always great, we come here a ton!
