The communication was great in the beginning. I was able to pick up my tasting samples and take them home, the flavors were okay. So we picked marble cake and the cannoli chocolate chip with buttercream icing. When it came time to order you just submitted the order online via email which was really easy. I really wanted to love my cake I really did but the design was half-finished on the day of my wedding half of scroll work with missing on the top tier. The icing was beige/tan when we ask for white. when it came down to the way the cake actually tasted from piece to piece there was more icing than cake and the cannoli cream was barely existing. Thank God for my maitre d and some extra flowers. We were able to pull off the magic To make the cake with more appealing. I submitted a picture in the photos. It won't allow me to attach a photo. Walked in hoping to get help ordering a cake for a surprise baby girl sprinkle. Lauren did just that. She helped me find the perfect cake on her internet search and then the baker appeared saying, looks beautiful, no problem.All of my guests raved about the cake being oh so delicious without being too sweet. They also helped with last minute questions and I was able to send them the type of edible pearl decoration I wanted to use. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about this bakery, we called at 6:30 am for a same day pick up for a close friends baby homecoming from the hospital. Because we didn’t have much time we didn’t expect much except for a pink cake with the message we selected written on it. Wow when I say how impressed we were with the final product ..it’s still an understatement! They took such great care to decorate the cake with a baby girl theme and once we actually ate the cake it was equally delicious ! Our friends were so touched that we got them such a gorgeous cake to commemorate their newborns homecoming! Order your special occasion cake here !!
If I could give less I would. This bakery was included with my venue and it is ridiculous. Just bc u r "included" doesn't mean u can steal... David's prices r ridiculous for upgrades. If u want flowers u must supply them, ribbons... supply them... Basically any decorations r extra... he quoted me 545.00 for basic sugar flowers which I made in my kitchen... (I make custom cakes) he said they take 10 days and r tons of work and I could buy them if I wanted to and bring them to him... they took me 2 hours.... just sayin... also when I called about a tasting they said come anytime no appointment... this sounded strange... i called 3 times and got the aame answer. after my 45min drive I was told oh... just go online, pick a cake and email the owner... hmmmmm Basically he wants to ice the cake and drop it off. I'm pretty sure he outsources his decorating and that's why he charges so much... if someone wants a ribbon, a flower etc u SHOULD BE DOING IT... silk ribbons, fake flowers... clients should not supply it. I asked for a plain white cake in the end and said I would decorate it myself b4 my wedding... it was becoming too stressful honestly.... He said no problem.... it came all nicked up and with blue buttercream dots... NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR... not the final decision... my Florist ended up decorating my cake... no extra charge bc she felt bad and it turned out beautifully... Now b4 I get a response from rolling pin... just know I have ALLLLLL my emails including what we decided on and your price gouging... and the buttercream was nicked up BEFORE my Florist touched the cake... ALL BRIDES SHOULD CHOOSE ANOTHER BAKERY IF ITS AN OPTION.

There is a reason why this place is always packed. The food is the freshest and healthiest option I have found in bergen County.On a side note, I do deliveries and just recently i accidentally picked up the wrong order by mistake (my fault), i ended up getting deactivated over the misunderstanding.I called the owner and he was SO nice and really cared about me losing my job. He assured me that he "would not let that happen." He made some phone calls and I got my job back!It is VERY rare to get your job back once you get deactivated, but thanks to his kind heart and his help i got it back almost immediately. Thank you!P.S.Come to thr rolling pin in Westwood nj for a delicious homemade healthy breakfast or lunch!
