Been going here my whole life, even though I don’t live in the area anymore I always make sure to get a meal or two there when I visit. Best diner in town by far, best hospitality I have ever experienced. When I recommend it to people they always say how amazing it is and how nice everyone there is. Perfect spot day and night

For the locals... if you are looking for a GREAT place to eat you have to go to setauket Village Restaurant Diner (in the wild by nature shopping center) you are greeted like you're a celebrity by the owner Constantine aka "Gus" who is a jolly wonderful person. You are given bow tie antipasta and coleslaw to start and FILTERED water free of charge. The mozzarella sticks are crispy and melt in your mouth. The Ruben and French dip is decadent! The service is amazing as well! Tell Constantine "Gus" the Coticchios sent ya! Enjoy your fabulous meal!

Amazing staff, breakfast casserole was exactly what I wanted. Toast are thick slices.

I have never complained about anything but this time it is necessary, they charged me almost 50 dollars for 2 simple medium greek salads with chicken... I never felt so cheated before, I still left a tip to the poor waitress who served me... The salad was good but no different from any Greek salad I've had before...

The breakfast has really gone down hill from the other times I've been here previous years...the Belgian waffles are just regular waffles and did not taste good. It was $120 for 4 people and we did not even finish all of our food because it just wasn't very good. The pancakes didn't have flavor and tasted like they were made on a dirty pan.

I just order a BLT, I had my sandwich to discover that the last piece of bread was MOLDY. I have no more appetite and gonna threw away the rest of my food.
It's not my first time in this diner, I really liked it, enjoyed it, the place is great and the owner is adorable. I noticed he is very careful and take care well of his customers but that is not acceptable at all. I waste money and food, not happy at all and have a bitter taste having to write this negative review about a place I appreciate.

I have never wrote a review on anything before but I have to say after the authentic experience I had at this diner I had to write about it!!The atmosphere of this place is AMAZING!!! My brother and I are new to the area and we came across this place randomly… The owner is really nice and inviting he greeted us at the door with a nice smile on his face and throughout the duration of us being there he checked up on us to make sure we were satisfied with the service! Service was also very good!! Employees seemed really nice and authentic. The food was also amazing and came out fast! Definitely coming back here this place is now my new favorite restaurant!!

Wish I could give it six stars.We called with a party of 11 after an incredibly horrible experience at Northern Coast Kitchen and they were able to sit us and feed us right away.They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and all the food really hit the spot.Classic diner love.This should have been our first pick.
