The Clubhouse at Shandaken Inn

This place completely blew us away. Nestled in what feels off the beaten path, the level and quality food felt like you were in Manhattan. The entire atmosphere is rustic and charming, yet with a clean and modern feel. The menu was fantastic. We took a chance on the smoked trout dip and it was delicious. We both then had skirt steak with bone marrow, crispy Brussels for a side and the bourbon toffee pudding for dessert. Even our cocktails, everything out of this world. Highly highly recommend!

Probably one of the best meals I’ve had this year. Every plate felt incredibly thoughtful, with a level of attention to detail that elevated the entire experience.

The chicken schnitzel was the standout for me—perfectly tender and juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked with real precision. The snow peas alongside it brought a fresh crunch and provided the ideal textural contrast, making every bite feel balanced and complete.

From start to finish, the meal showcased not just great ingredients, but careful execution and genuine care in the kitchen. A memorable dining experience that I’ll be thinking about for a while.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! I had one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The grilled pork chops were perfectly cooked: tender, juicy, and packed with savory flavor in every bite. The salad with shaved almonds was the perfect complement to the meal, adding a fresh, crisp texture and just the right amount of crunch.

Inn is beautiful and comfortable. Staff is professional and friendly. Bartender and chef are incredibly. Cocktails and food were excellent. Staff made the experience wonderful. After dinner the outdoor fire pits and games was friendly and fun.

Wow. Wow! Beyond Delicious!!!! We have eaten here about 12 times and have always loved our meals from start to finish. Yesterday had the Ragu lamb with homemade pasta wow an explosion of delicate flavors. Loved every bite also the Beet salad appetizer was incredible. So refreshing and full of flavor ! The mussels were EXCEPTIONAL. Cooked to perfection!!!
Breakfast. Let me recommend the Shakshuka !!!!! Unbelievable soft and delicate flavors!!! Also the Catskills Omelette was so good! The trout inside was amazing!!! Impeccable service and great staff!!! To bad I live 100 miles away. Highly recommend this place!!!! Look forward to returning soon!!!!!!!

what an absolute gem in the catskills!!! I have found it difficult to find a restaurant that compares even within NYC and I often find myself thinking back to the dishes I enjoyed here.
The flavor profiles and dish visuals were unique and exquisite, fresh and perfect for a summer's day.
I look forward to returning!

This restaurant upstate New York is truly a hidden gem. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented — you can tell the chef puts real care into every plate. This place is absolutely beautiful, and the combination of ingredients, like the edible flowers, is visually stunning.
My favorite dish was the local burrata with pickled green strawberries—it was so fresh and delicious, allowing each ingredient’s natural flavor to really shine.
