It's a shame they don't deliver! The food is really good..much better than the other local chinese restaurants. I would much rather take the ride to pick up their food than get delivery and have it be soggy and cold..and possibly forget the soy/duck sauce..lol

Been coming here for years and would have told anyone this was the best Chinese food in the area.
As of late that hasn’t been the case. The meat portions have gone down as the prices have gone up. Recently, I chalked it up to a “bad night”, but that has lasted for months and tonight was the final straw.
Even the crab Rangoon tonight was disappointing. Not only did it taste stale, but the filling was almost non-existent.
For my steamed chicken and broccoli they didn’t even include the brown sauce on the side, which has always been the default option.
For $56 my family of 4 were all left disappointed and hungry.
I’ll be seeking out a new Chinese restaurant. Luckily there a half dozen other options within a 10min drive.

Best Chinese take out in this area by far, always fresh and fast. I’ve seen them cutting real chicken multiple times and making food by hand. Sure it isn’t super clean inside but the food quality and taste is amazing. Consistently our go to spot

DIRTYYYY and RUDE!!! I understand that restaurants have rodent issues occasionally… but when a MOUSE scurries past me into the kitchen area while I’m waiting for my order…. I was soo grossed out!! Then when I asked for a refund bc I wasn’t eating that food at this point, the guy gave ME an attitude. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!!

I bought 2 large Pork fried rice for my family. The rice was not properly cooked. The grains were still raw. I ended up throwing out both containers. It’s happened before. I did the benefit of the doubt with Kitchen 1. Unfortunately, it happened again.

Needed some quick easy food during a marathon packing session, so I unfortunately opted for take out from this rat hole of a place. The people there are rude, unhelpful, and the food was just disgusting. So glad to be moving out of Putnam valley - hopefully I'll soon have a better selection of everything, including takeout food.

Food was horrible. I ordered a large shrimp fried rice and broccoli and chicken. The shrimp fried rice was hard and clumpy pail, no taste. I couldn't even eat it!! My daughters broccoli and chicken rice was hard as well. It's called #1 Kitchen?? Really?? Wrong name!! I called to complain and they did nothing, said that no one called to complain about their rice....yeah right!! I don't recommend this place. A waist of $30.00. Smh

Ordered a big meal, did not disappoint! I ordered two sesame chicken with pork lo mein and spicy dumplings. Very delicious, the only thing that would have made it better is if it wasn't so greasy. Also, the shrimp with lobster sauce was delicious. I recommend the spicy dumplings. The worker was nice enough to let me order close to closing. He was a nice guy.

Oh my gosh best Chinese food in the Shrub Oak area. True small family-owned and run like us at EMY Custom Flowers.You get good food and smiles whenever you go in.
Vegetarian options: There are vegan options.
Parking: Park at the parking lot by the pharmacy and walk around to the next door. Less than a minute
This place has fallen apart! A few weeks ago I placed an order got home and it wasn't the correct order at all. Tonight I place an order at 7:25 pm showed up at 7:55pm 30 minutes later, they said a few more minutes. Then they realized they NEVER made my order and wanted me to wait even more time. NOT WORTH it never going back again!
